"How are you, haven't seen you in a while" Vaishnavi said, settling besides Reena on the bed.

"I'm doing alright" Reena replied monotoned, flicking through the pages of her novel.

"Its doesn't seem like it. I heard you patched things up with Rocky" she said.

"I did, were ok now i guess" Reena said and Vaishnavi cupped her face.

"Tell me the truth Reena, if things are back to normal, why do you look so upset still?" Vaishnavi asked concerned.

"Well its just that I'm still mad at him. I know he apologised and I'm meant to feel ok but i just don't. My life has changed so rapidly these last 8 months since i came here. And sometimes i wonder if it was for the better or worse" Reena replied.

"I get it but image your life if Rocky didn't come. You would be miserable, living with Kamal. Locked in his house, all for himself. You would have no freedom"

"But how is Rocky any different? He does the exact same thing. The only difference is that he actually loves me but Kamal didn't. And in the end, its always me that has to suffer. I never had freedom then. But when i came here, to Rocky, i thought that i would finally be free from that life. But i was wrong, because he is doing the exact same thing." Reena sulked.

Even though she agreed to live with him, she was still angry and upset by her lack of freedom. She was like a caged bird. She tried her hardest to make him understand but he couldn't listen. She was forced to make due with how her life was going to be now. There was no doubt that Rocky would treat her right from now, but the idea that she would spend the rest of her life somewhere she doesn't want to be made her skin crawl.

"Then talk to him" Vaishnavi said.

"You think i haven't tried. He's stubborn Vaishu. He is planning on keeping besides him for the rest of his life." Reena whined.

Rocky was going to keep Reena attached to his heart, holding her forever. He was beyond happy when Reena agreed to live there. But still a part of him felt bad for how he treated her. Even though he said sorry, he still felt bad. So he planned her a little surprise.

"Can i come in?" Rocky asked peeking his head through the door.

Reena nodded and he walked over to her, sitting next to her on the bed.

"What are you doing?" he asked and she held up her book.

"You seem to like reading a lot" he said and she smiled.

" Yeah, its my only entertainment. An escape from reality" she replied.

"Well then i have a surprise for you" he said standing up, extending his arm.

She glanced at his hand then up at him. She stood up locking her hands with his. He began leading her throughout the mansion till they reached a special room tucked away within the far corner of the house.

Reena didn't even know this place existed. The approached a large oak wood door. He placed his palms over her eyes and asked her to open the door. She sighed, stepping forwards and pushing the heavy door open.

Reena was hit with a wave of cold air, mixed with the smell of flowers and wood.

"Can i open my eyes" she asked and he slowly removed his palms.

Reena stared at the room in awe. It was a library. Built just for her. It had tall walls filled with book shelves that created an archway that was covered in fresh flowers. It had a large sofa in the corner with blankets and pillows and a small fireplace next to it.

It also had a huge window that faced the garden. The earthy smell crept up her nostrils and she glanced around then back at Rocky who was staring at her with a small smile playing on his lips.

"You like it?" he asked and let out a breath.

"What is this?" she asked shocked.

"Its a library. Just for you, since you love reading so much" he said and she smiled genuinely after a really long time.

"Thank you Rocky. This...this is truly amazing. I don't know what to say" she said and he shook his head.

"Don't thank me. Its the least i could do for you. Now you can read as many books as you want." he said and she immediately went to explore the endless rows filled with books.

Her fingers grazed the cold shelves as she read the names of all the books he got her. There were authors from all over the world. Some books she had wanted to read for years. How he knew all this confused her. She turned back to look at him as he sat on the sofa, legs spread, staring at her with a look of awe in his eyes.

"Are these real?" she asked pointing up at the flowers.

"Of course they are. I also know how much you enjoy reading in the garden, so i brought the garden to you. And you have a pretty view to look at." he said and she felt her heart swell.

She walked up to him and he rose from his seat.

"Thank you again, for all of this" she said.

"Its fine" and she moved in pecking his cheek.

He smiled slightly rubbing on the skin that had just come in contact with her lips.

"You don't have to be affectionate with me if you don't want too. I'm not gonna force you" he said genuinely and she weakly smiled whilst nodding.

"Well ill leave you to it" he said and made his way out, leaving Reena all alone to explore her new library.

She felt her heart melt at these genuine gesture from Rocky. As much as she enjoyed this, a part of her mind was uneasy at whether he was doing this just to buy a place into her heart.

"Well how did she find the surprise?" Abhi asked as Rocky walked into his office.

"She loves it. Thank god" he replied settling into his seat.

"I just spoke to Vaish" Abhi started and Rocky poured himself a glass of whiskey.

"What did she say?" Rocky asked.

"Reena isn't happy Rocky. She want to go back home and she is trying to tell you but you wont listen" he said straight up and Rocky froze.

"What are you talking about. She agreed to stay here on her own terms" Rocky said trying to stay calm.

"Because she knows you wont let her leave. Listen man i know out of all people how much you love this girl. Its clear that you've never loved anyone like her. And at one point i could see it in her for you as well, but i don't know about that anymore" Abhi said.

"All I'm saying is that if you love someone you should let them go. I know you wont listen but think about it. If you truly love her, then you will do anything for her happiness. And if that means letting her go, then you would. I'm not telling you what to do but I'm telling you to just think from her perspective for once and stop making her suffer like this"  Abhi said and left.

His comment gave Rocky the reality check he much needed. He felt like he had just been slapped in the face. He would easily burn the world to the ground for her happiness, so he should be able to let her go for her happiness right?

He ran his fingers through his hair thinking. He had to make a decision and he had to make it fast. He didn't want her to suffer like this anymore. So he knew what he had to do.

Lets just hope its the right thing....
