Yunho did manage to expertly conceal the love marks decorated across Wooyoung's skin, the shorter fiercely adamant on wearing the backless long sleeve top he'd had in mind for days whether the marks were visible or not. San watched on solemnly as his lovingly peppered bites and scratches were hidden from the world, before being told by Mingi to get a grip and that he could just make more when they both got home later. After that, he cheered up in an instant, silently manifesting for a quick and early end to their night to do just that.

Seonghwa, to everyone's shock, landed on an outfit choice relatively easily once he'd calmed down. Picking his own sheer black button up and borrowing Wooyoung's wet-look leather pants, the hardest part of the night was over, leading to some giddy pre-drinks and games between the 5 boys before making their way over to the house of the party.

"Don't think I should've had those drinks. Feel like I'm gonna hurl. Fuck, what if I'm sick on him? Oh my God. He's going to hate me. I've ruined everything." Seonghwa rambled, becoming increasingly louder as the party house grew closer in sight in their walk from the car. San of course had opted to drive the group, never the fondest drinker and also making for an easier getaway option if anybody required it.

"You only had one drink because I wouldn't let you have anymore, Seongie. You're going to be totally fine, I won't leave your side unless I have to." Wooyoung reassured, hand in hand with the other as they walked ahead of the rest of the group together, grinning through the death-grip Hwa had his hand in.

"You promise? I know San is being a little moody. He thinks I can't tell, but he must be forgetting we've been in each other's lives for, well, our whole lives. I want to just grow the hell up and speak to my guy, like I would with anyone else, but I can't and I need you with me. Does that make me selfish?"

Arriving at the gates of the house, already flowing with groups of invitees, Wooyoung stopped the pair in their tracks and pulled Seonghwa to face him.

"You are many things, Seongie. Beautiful, kind, loyal, trustworthy. One thing you are not is selfish. Don't even think that for one second." Wooyoung sterned through a loving tug of their linked hands. "You're nervous because something is important to you and you want to treat it carefully, thoughtfully. It doesn't compare to anything else. Don't let it scare you just because it's unfamiliar. Me and you are going to do this night right, okay? This is only my second ever party, and I'm attending with full excitement. I learned to not let bad thoughts and nerves wreck what I know I deserve. I want you to do the same."

San couldn't physically refrain himself from planting a kiss on top of Wooyoung's head as the other's reached the fast-walking boys in front, after hearing the end of his lovely words of encouragement. He stepped back immediately after, fulfilling the promise he made to his lover and best friend to not steal Wooyoung away and let the shorter be at Seonghwa's side for as long as he needed him.

"Love this, love you all, but we're going to get trampled if we stay any longer at the entrance." Mingi broke through the moment, sensing it warranted, and his friend needed the push.

He was right, too. With a deep breath and a nod to his supporting friends stood around him, Seonghwa released his hands from Wooyoung's as they turned to walk in.

"It's been an hour and I haven't seen him yet... do you think he bailed?"

Seonghwa and Wooyoung were stood in the kitchen, hips perched against the countertop, drink in hand and observing their surroundings. Wooyoung had manually removed Seonghwa's bottom lip from between his teeth at least once every 3 minutes, fearing his friend would chew it off before he managed to actually speak to his crush.
