Chapter 15: Ignored.

    STACEY.

I wanted to scream, it had been a whole week since I had a meeting with Mr Aman's lawyer but the idiot wouldn't see me.

I tried my best securing appointments with him, yet all I got were either calls of him being busy or he would make me spend hours waiting for him at our appointed destinations.

He would make an appointment of course, it would have been a different story if he rejected my appointments.

My nails digged into the arm of the black leather chair I was seated on, i had been waiting for a whole hour.

" Ma'am," the receptionist across me called, making me lift my head, in hope she had something useful to say.

"Yes,"

Her face held a conflicted one, " the president says he is in a club and he wants to know if you are willing to go look for him there,"

"A club?,"

" Yes,"

I closed my eyes, fingertips tingling in annoyance, there was no way I wasn't going to go find him. After all, the benefits were better than the trouble.

I opened back my eyes," the address?"

" Ah yes ma'am," she called him and asked, then she scribbled some words in a paper and handed it to . " Here you go ma'am,"

I took the paper from her with a nod, then I headed out of the building, to my car.

Once i was seated in my car, I held the steering and rested my head on it for a while, my eyes closed, my stomach rumbling, the little worms in my tummy were obviously annoyed with me for starving them for days.

The worse part was the heart burn, yep, I had ulcer, since I had the money and resources to get myself food but didn't, Gid decided to bestow it upon me.

I wasn't ready to eat though, it was the last on my priority list at the moment, it's funny how just a few years ago, what to eat and wear and my debts were all that occupied my mind.

Yet, a few years later and I was busy neglecting food like it meant nothing, I sighed, leaned away from the steering, turned on the ignition and drove out the driveway.

An hour later, I arrived at the club, exhausted and groaning in pain, God, the pain.

It was self inflicted though, guess I would have to endure the pain till I returned home, after a few minutes of resting against the window of my car, i took in a deep breath .

One. Two three.... Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten...

Then I leaned away from it, picked my bag and got out my car, the place didn't look like a club to me, it seemed like a pretty decent place, i looked into the scrunched up piece of paper in my hand again just in case I wasn't in the wrong place.

Once satisfied with my finding, I headed towards the building, there were two bouncers by the entrance.

It did seem like an important place.

" Who are you?" The one on the left stepped in my way. My brows knitted together.

"M-me?" I pointed to myself.

He didn't respond to my words but his held mine, they were cold and daring, I backed away, in slow steps.

" I am here to meet someone,"

" Your card!" he demanded.

"Card? What card?" I looked at the two men who wouldn't budge from their positions, weird, it was my first time being denied entrance into a place in the last two years.
