Chapter 28: His Pain.

Stacey.

         "So, you have never been to Hawaii? " Ed asked Mr Aman, he shook his head.

"I haven't, "

Ed gasped, then she looked towards me, " he has never been to Hawaii Mom, is that even possible? "

"It is, " I responded, Mr Aman had been spending time with us the past two weeks, mostly dinner at my place, I had not been to his and I didn't want to.

He and Ed had gotten close to each other, they spoke about literally everything, I scowled, the man planned on taking everything I had from me, including my baby.

That was not happening, absolutely not.

"Convince me, " he demanded, with a little tug of his lips,

"Alright, I can do that, okay, so, " just like that, we spent dinner speaking about our time in Hawaii.

Seeing Edna excited made me happy, our time spent at Hawaii was one of the best times we had spent together, there had been no other occasion to break the record, even after I became rich.

Our days at Hawaii was also the most peaceful we have had, most joyful days.

"Well, it seems I am convinced, I will check the place out on one of my free times, "

" we could go together, I miss Hawaii, " she offered.

"We will Ed, when I am not busy, " I smiled, ruffling her head. 

"Okay, "

"How about we go for a walk?" Mr Aman suggested.

"Um... "

"Yes, you guys go for a walk, " she chirped, standing up.

"And you, " Mr Aman asked.

"I will be fine, I have some school assignments to work on, its for a project and I need some peace, so you guys can go bye, " she rushed out and ran for her room.

Mr Aman chuckled, " am I the only one finding it amusing that your daughter is pairing us up? "

"Nope, "

"She is cute, "

"That she is, "

We sat in awkward silence till Mr Aman spoke, " we should go for a walk, "

" sure, " I stood to my feet and packed the plates to the kitchen, on my way back, I collided with a hard chest, a gasp escaped Mr Aman's mouth, due to his surprise he was unable to hold the two of us up, which sent us falling to the floor.

"Ouch, " I groaned, propping myself up using his chest as support.

"Are you alright?" I asked, holding my head up, he didn't reply, "are you alright-" my words died in my mouth as my gaze collided with his, my heart hammed in my chest as I found myself unable to look away from his enchanting eyes.
