"Eternal Shenron. By your name, I summon you forth!"
Suddenly, the sky grew dark as gray clouds blocked the sun. The seven dragon balls began to glow, when suddenly, a gigantic dragon appeared. That was him. That was Shenron.

"Oh. It's just you." The divine beast spoke. "Well then, speak your first wish."
Sonic walked up. "Uh.. Hey... Shenron..? I wanted to know if Chaos Emeralds existed in this universe?" Sonic asked. ".... These Chaos Emeralds do not exist. However, I can conjure them if you were to describe them in perfect detail to me." Sonic immediately looked shocked. "Yes!" Sonic then pondered for a moment. What if he instead created the Super Emeralds instead?
"The Chaos Emeralds are seven large emeralds of different colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. These contain ridiculous amounts of power, if one were to harness the energy of them, they would be able to grant near godlike power..." Sonic continued to explain the qualities and powers of the Super Emeralds, with Shenron listening.
With a glow of his eyes, it was done. Sonic now magically had all 7 Super Emeralds. "Aw yeah! This is happening!"
"State your second wish..." Shenron announced.
"Shenron... Can you make it so I don't need these to transform anymore?" Sonic asked. Again, Shenron's eyes glowed and Shenron confirmed that it was done.
"It is done, however do note that this will be slightly weaker than transforming using the emeralds you have wished for. Furthermore, the amount of energy it drains will only allow you to use it for at most 15 minutes." Shenron stated.
"Hm.. Works for me. Well uhh... I don't really have any other wishe-" "OH! Shenron! Can you bring out Sonic's latent power?" Goku immediately interrupted Sonic.
"It is done. Sonic's latent potential has been brought out. His speed and power have been increased dramatically."
"Thank you, mighty Shenron." Sonic bowed with a gigantic smile. Suddenly, Shenron disappeared, and the dragon balls immediately spread.
Goku looked at Sonic with the Chaos emeralds surrounding him. Along with this, a small crowd had gathered, with Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Piccolo, and many others watching the hedgehog. "Well...? Are you gonna transform?" Goku asked, excited to see his transformation.
"As if you'd even have to ask that." Sonic snickered, and closed his eyes. Immediately, the Chaos Emeralds rose to him and began spinning relentlessly. Soon, he absorbed the emeralds' power, and Super Sonic had arrived to the world of Dragon Ball.

The saiyans looked on in pure awe. Was Sonic a saiyan too? How could he turn gold like them? Vegeta in particular was amazed by it. How could someone who isn't a saiyan turn super saiyan.
