The Tournament was at a brief standstill, both sides waiting for someone to make the first move. Goku and Jiren stared down one another, their eyes locked in a staring contest. Slowly, the two marched forward to meet each other in the center. In a silent metaphorical handshake, Goku immediately transformed into SSB, with his roar of power causing a crater to form, and a shockwave to send everyone backwards.
Immediately, the two soared off into the air, punching, kicking, blocking, whatever it takes to win. They both understood that failing hear would most certainly mean defeat. Goku seemed to be impressed by Jiren's raw power, complimenting him on his strength. "Tell me, Goku. What drives your endless quest for strength?" Jiren inquires. "Honestly, I can't explain it. I just want to get stronger; always have." Goku smirked.
"As I thought. You don't even know." Jiren stated. "What about you? Don't you wanna get stronger?" Goku asked in return. "I seek to achieve something beyond strength, simpleton." Jiren insulted. "Well DUH, that's what I've been saying! I wanna get stronger than strong- and then stronger than THAT!" Goku smiled.
Slowly, the two returned to the ground, with a brief intermission. "Ready to start round two?" Goku asks, but before Jiren could think of a response, Vegeta blows past the low-class Saiyan, surprising Goku. "ALRIGHT JIREN, I DEMAND YOU SHOW ME YOUR POWER!" Vegeta exclaimed, charging at Jiren.
Meanwhile, Sonic stood still as he attempted to fire ki blasts at Dyspo, who dodged them all. Appearing behind Sonic, the purple rabbit mocked the hedgehog. "Hahaha!" Dyspo laughed. "You may have hit me once, but I'm not letting it happen again! It's a simple fact, I'm the fastest warrior alive in the entire multiverse!"
Sonic chuckled. "That's cute kid, but listen. When you wanna talk REAL speed, just let me know." Sonic said, smirking. This enraged Dyspo, who charged at Sonic, creating several after images of himself, each with a shit eating grin. Sonic laughed to himself. "Wanna see what I can do?" He said, before dropping down and creating a Sonic Wind, dispersing the after images.
As Sonic began his slow descent downwards, he suddenly felt a hand grab him from the back, before hurling him towards a wall of debris. Immediately as he hit the wall, he felt himself scraping against it as someone ran him through, keeping a constant pressure on his head. As Dyspo ran out of debris to run Sonic through, he threw him onto the ground, which Sonic rotated himself to land perfectly.
"If that's how you wanna do things... Just try to keep up!" Sonic exclaimed, before speeding off, with Dyspo giving chase. The two exchanged blows as they leapt from debris to debris, leaving nothing in their wake. "Let's wrap this up." Dyspo said, catching Sonic by surprise as he slammed him into a wall, destroying it immediately. Dyspo laughed. "Now you're feeling my REAL power! That'll teach you to run your mouth off to a Pride Trooper!" He mocked, before continuing to laugh.

Slowly, Sonic rose up, a little scratched, but relatively unharmed. "You've really.. gone and done it this time, Dyspo." Sonic said, wiping the dust off of his cheeks. "B-But how are you unscathed?!" Dyspo demanded an explanation. Sonic chuckled in response. "I've fought countless gods, big and small. A quick attack from a bunny is nothing." Sonic laughed. Dyspo grew angrier as he again charged the blue blur, with Sonic eventually landing on a large pillar of debris.
"Safe to say that this is almost over, wouldn't you agree, Dyspo? You got speed, I'll give you that, but you don't have Sonic Speed!" Sonic chuckled. Immediately, the battle started again, with the two engaging in a flurry of quick attacks. The two speedsters then took a small break from the fight, and ran around the arena. "Your speed's pretty great, I'll give you that, but don't underestimate me! You've only just begun to see my speed!" Dyspo exclaimed, launching a kick towards Sonic who blocked it with his arm.
Immediately, Sonic was on the defense as he blocked and weaved Dyspo's attacks. With one punch, Dyspo had stunned Sonic, giving the rabbit enough time to jump into the air, and launch a Circle Flash, which trapped Sonic, before exploding on him. The hedgehog slowly dropped onto the ground, to Dyspo's enjoyment.
"How'd you like that, rat? I had fun playing with you, but I'm gonna go ahead and knock you off the ring now. See ya!" Dyspo chuckled, as he launched forward, but in a change of luck, Sonic ducked underneath the attack. "I'm not a rat." Sonic said under his breath, before slamming down on Dyspo. "I'm a hedgehog." Sonic now stood on top of Dyspo, who attempted to move, but was unable to.
"Ya know Dyspo. This was really fun. It's been a hot minute since I've been able to fight someone who can keep up with me." Sonic smiled. "But, your time in this ring is up. I won't let you escape me." Sonic said, allowing Dyspo to get up onto his feet. "I... I won't let you take me down..." Dyspo defiantly stated. Sonic shrugged as a response.
"Well, a second round doesn't bother me one bit. Here we go!"
