Sonic and Goku : Two Worlds Collide!

[CHAPTER 35: Toppo VS Sonic, A Destroyer VS Savior!]

Sonic and Toppo glared at one another. The red glowing eyes from the savior of Mobius, to the purple glowing eyes of the God of Destruction. Sonic felt a little uneasy, but if he could nearly best Beerus in a fight in his Super form, then perhaps he could best Top too. Immediately, Sonic rushed forward with a punch, but it felt as if he had just hit a brick wall. Sonic immediately recoiled back as his hand ached in pain, but as he turned to look at what he had done to Top, he noticed the destroyer no longer there. He was behind Sonic.

Sonic turned quickly in an effort to strike back, but Top was much more faster now. With one hit, Sonic was sent across to the other side of the arena, where Top was already waiting. The immense rage and power flowing through him allowing him the ability to teleport. Sonic was quickly battered to and fro for several seconds, before being sent down in a single flick of a finger, causing the arena to shake violently as a crater formed.

Sonic slowly attempted to rise. His Super form flickering. "Agh.." He groaned. "I just need more energy.. Come on body.. Don't fail me now..." Sonic began to breathe heavy, but as he had finally gotten a hold of his surroundings, he felt a large hand grab ahold of his head. "Wh- OUCH!" Sonic exclaimed as he desperately wiggled in an attempt to get out of Top's grip. Slowly, the destroyer began to tighten his grip, crushing Sonic's head, causing him to scream relentlessly.

Then, Top threw Sonic towards the edge, but luckily Sonic managed to hold on for dear life. "Agh... I can't.... I need.... Time.. I need...." Sonic's eyes shut as his mind was racing. He felt helpless, similarly to how he did when he was defeated by Infinite. Everyone on the bleachers watched as Sonic held onto the edge. Beerus began to sweat. "Come on Sonic.... You can't fall now..." Suddenly, all of the seventh universe's warriors in the bleachers called out to Sonic.

"COME ON SONIC! GET UP! YOU CAN FIGHT! YOU CAN WIN!"

"Get up." Those words repeated in Sonic's mind endlessly. This is what Tails needed Sonic to do when he fell. But Sonic failed. He failed his world.

"No. NO!" "NO!!!!"

Sonic immediately rose as Top charged forward. In a swift motion, Sonic dodged the attack and kick Top away, much to the surprise of the spectators. Suddenly, Sonic's aura changed. This was it. This was the break he needed to master Super Sonic Two.

"I may have failed my world, Toppo. But I WILL NOT FAIL THIS WORLD!"
