Sonic and Goku : Two Worlds Collide!

[CHAPTER 26: Ultra Instinct's Ultra Return!]

Immediately, Kefla charged Goku, who dodged the attack and returned with a kick to Kefla's back, sending her flying. The two engaged in attack after attack, with Kefla striking relentlessly, and Goku dodging and weaving with ease.

Everyone watched as Goku made a mockery of Kefla, with her getting progressively more and more infuriated. Striking at her, Goku made connection, hitting her into numerous walls of rock and debris. This caused her to become even more angry.

Mocking Goku's weak attack, Kefla tells Goku not to disappoint her. "You can do better than that, can't ya?" Kefla asked.

"...Yeah. I'm starting to get a handle on it, I can do much better." Goku responded. "Behold the power of Ultra Instinct!" He exclaimed, charging up. Meanwhile, Kefla prepared to charge Goku, but was stopped as Goku basically appeared behind her. As she tried to turn around, Goku unleashed a fury of attacks, with his final one aimed at her gut, before sending a kick to her face, forcing her to plummet onto the ground.

"What's the matter, Kefla? Is that all you got for me?" Goku mocked. As Kefla sent a strong left punch to Goku, he leapt over her in a few milliseconds, before kicking her away.

"I'm gonna finish this. Right now." Goku said.

"NO YOU WON'T! AGGGGGH!!!" Kefla screamed, creating large blades with her ki as Goku rushed her, bending over any which way as he weaved her attacks. Dodging them all, Goku finally prepares a kamehameha wave, which Kefla desperately attempts to subdue with her attacks. Kefla begins to spew out ki blasts as if it were all she knew how to do, while despite that, Goku still closed the distance rapidly.

Kefla was clearly scared, but nevertheless tried her best. In a desperate attempt to get rid of Goku, Kefla charged a final attack.

"Not bad, but you can't dodge in mid-air!" Kefla exclaimed. "GAME OVER GOKU! NOW YOU'RE THROUGH!!!" She screamed, releasing her beams of ki towards Goku.

Immediately, Goku somehow leapt on top of the beam, his body moving ever so closer to Kefla, catching her by surprise.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

Finally, his kamehameha wave came and went, pushing the fusion all the way to the edge, resulting in their immediate elimination, much to the dismay of the rest of the sixth universe.

As the battle ended, Goku began to collapse, his muscles aching. Clenching his heart, he returns to base form. Goku had bested Kefla, but with 17 minutes left in the desperate tournament, there is simply no time to rest. Goku has barely anytime to embrace autonomous ultra instinct. It's either he achieves it here, or his universe might be one that falls as well.

As Goku leaned over onto a rock, Gohan and Piccolo rushed to him in order to protect him, but were stopped by the final two contestants of the sixth universe: Pilina, and Saonel. The two overconfident Namekians engaged head-on with Gohan and Piccolo, who responded with a barrage of furious attacks. This left Goku wide open, allowing the remaining contestants from the second universe to swoop in and attack.

Ribrianne and Roasie attempted to launch a heart-shaped ki attack at Goku, but was quickly stopped by Sonic and the androids, who launched a combined beam of ki at the heart, angering the second universe warriors. Angered at the three warriors who stood before them, Ribrianne and Roasie attempted to make them move with their words, but to no avail.

With a fight inevitable, Roasie calls dibs on Sonic, stating that he was the one that had knocked out Kakunsa, and he deserves the feel the rage that one feels when losing someone they love. Ribrianne gave Roasie the greenlight, and Roasie immediately charged at Sonic.

"THIS IS FOR KAKUNSA!" She screamed, launched a flurry of attacks at Sonic, who attempted to dodge them, but was quickly hit away. Meanwhile, Seventeen and Eighteen ran in opposite directions to avoid Ribrianne's Lovely Machine Gun. Then, the three lesser contestants from universe two stood before Goku, preparing to simply throw him out of the ring. Realizing this, Seventeen backed off from Ribrianne, moving instead to help Goku in his time of need.

Meanwhile, Roasie continued her relentless assault, with her sending a kick to push Sonic away, who landed on a rock. Launching two ki blasts, Roasie sent them towards Sonic who jumped into the air to avoid them, but was caught off guard when Roasie had guided them with her hands to chase him, hitting the hedgehog back onto the floor.

Sonic groaned as he got up again, leaping from debris pillar to debris pillar, with Roasie giving chase. At the same time, Eighteen was gaining ground against Ribrianne, with her eventually landing a kick to her face, which sent the warrior flying. Ribrianne was infuriated, even more so at the fact that Eighteen wasn't a 'good sport,' which the android said she just wanted to get home to her family; her husband, and her kid. Ribrianne realized that Krillin was her husband, which only infuriated her more, stating that Krillin is a hideous monstrosity with his nose less appearance and short stature.

Ribrianne charged at Eighteen in a move similar to Sonic's spin dash, who leapt out of the way. As she landed, he rolled on her ankle, causing pain and discomfort as she failed to stand up again. As Ribrianne pressed the attack, Sonic boosted forward, striking Ribrianne away. Roasie fired a ki blast that then transformed into numerous smaller ones. Instinctively, Sonic and Eighteen dodged them as they all struck Ribrianne.

Just then, Sonic noticed Seventeen and Goku fending off against three attackers. Speeding forward, he looked at Seventeen. "Tag out man, I got this. Go help your sister." He said, with Seventeen nodding as he continued forward.
