"NO! NO! Wait PLEASE LISTEN! STOP!" Jorge and Thomas immediately moved in front of Brenda as if shielding the girl from any attacks. I stayed by her side, trying to help her calm her breathing, but the commotion overhead was not helping one bit. Someone tried to pull me away from being so dangerously close to where the gun was currently being pointed, but I didn't budge.

"Okay, look this just happened... alright? She's not dangerous yet." I heard Thomas plead from in front of me.

"You shouldn't have brought her here!" Vince screamed, still holding the gun up. "We bring cranks in now, the Safe Haven doesn't last a week. Step back!"

"I-I understand, I understand, alright? Please. Just listen to me - please." Thomas kept on going, hands raised in surrender in front of him. "I told them you guys could help us. There has got to be something you can do for her... please."

Vince seemed to calm down for a second. "Yeah... there is. I can put her out of her misery." A flurry of cries ensued as he cocked the gun, but a sudden new voice cut into the conversation, causing the man to pause his actions.

"Vince - thats enough. Let him go!" It was a woman's voice, and within seconds someone was standing with us. I could immediately tell this woman was not to be messed with as she came to a halt next to Vince, watching sharping as the men who had grabbed hold of Jorge begrudgingly let him go.

"She's infected doc, there's nothing we can do for her." Vince said, barely regarding the woman now next to him - his eyes glued to Brenda on the floor. No matter how hard I tried to pull her up, she didn't move.

The woman didn't move - she seemed a lot more calm than Vince, and I watched as a small smile found its way onto her lips. She was staring at Thomas as she replied, "No... but he can. Hello Thomas." I looked up, giving the boy a confused look - he didn't seem to recognise the woman in front of us at all.

"Wait... What, you know me?" he asked slowly, frowning.

The woman's smile faded as she frowned, nodding slightly. "Interesting... make's sense they put you in the maze." She slowly walked over to where I still kneeled, giving me a small smile to indicate I should move away as she took my spot - quickly checking Brenda's pulse. "Though I must admit, I was worried that they'd kill you after what you did."

Thomas blinked in confused. "What I did?" he asked in a soft voice.

The woman looked up to face him. "The first time we spoke, you said you couldn't take it anymore... watching all of your friends die one by one. The last time we spoke, you gave me the coordinates of every single WICKED compound, trial and lab." she stated with almost a proud smile.

Vince was looking at Thomas as if he had a new found respect for the boy in front of him. "He was our source..."

"We couldn't have pulled all this off without him." The woman confirmed, as the rest of us just stood around - still a bit confused if I was speaking for myself. She turned back to Brenda. "Take her to the tent, and get these guys some warm clothes. It's the least we can do. Thomas, come on - I need to get some blood from you." Placing her hand on his shoulder, the woman led Thomas away from our group, leaving us standing around in silence as even Vince and Jorge walked away following them after a few seconds.

"Hey, you okay?" I turned to my right, only then realising I had subconsciously grabbed hold of Newt's jacket to help stay up right.

I nodded, looking back to where the woman had led Thomas off too. "Yeah, I'm alright. I'll be fine." I said, and I actually kind of believed it. For the first time in a while, a sliver of hope was creeping into my mind - and I wasn't sure if I liked it, or I was just setting myself up for even more disappointment. We had found the Right Arm, and the woman seemed nice enough. She seemed to want to help us - and if her intentions were really pure, that would make the first person in a while.
