"Excuse me!?" Jenna's mom says, her face has been drained by any and all remaining emotion she had, she is now staring at Lynn, eyes slightly closed. "How about we take this outside." Lynn says, standing up, grabbing Jenna's hand and walking out. She can feel that Jenna's mom is following her, close behind her and Jenna. Once they step outside onto the sidewalk, Lynn let's go of Jenna and turns around to face her mom. "What the fuck do you think gives you the right to talk this shit about Jenna!? Who are you too decide what she thinks!?" Lynn yells, straight at Jenna's mom, she feels angry, sad for Jenna but most of all protective, something she barely felt as an emotion like this but this mix of emotions to stand up for Jenna is enough to make her scream at her mom.

"How dare you speak to..." "HOW DARE I!? How dare you think that Jenna feels better than you, how dare you judge her like you do!? Actually, you know what!? Jenna is a hundred times better than you, she is amazing! She is sweet, kind and every other nice you can get! She is funny, social and talkative! Jenna is beautiful because she is! Not because she's an actress!" Lynn is just screaming, shutting down every little stutter Jenna's mom tries to get out. She is boiling with rage. "She's a great actress actually! This woman is amazing at what she does and deserves all the support in the world! But you...her own mother can't even support her!? You are mentally ill if you think that it's normal to talk to your child like this! Especially someone as amazing as Jenna! You have been lucky to be her mother and all you do is crap all over her and her career! So how about you do everyone on this fucking world a favor and SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Jenna's mom is bewildered, that look on her face, it serves Jenna right. Lynn is almost tempted to snap a picture of it, to save this moment. But she just stares at Jenna's mom, angry, arms crossed and staring her down. Lynn can feel Jenna standing behind her, but she can't look at her right now, she needs to make sure that every word she just said got through to this bitch of a mom.

"You two, are sick little fuck! You fucking child, you have no fucking idea what this is all about. You don't know Jenna like I, you don't know what a bitch she is!" and then Lynn does something she regrets, or should regret right away, but in the moment, oh it feels so nice. Lynn raises her hand and with an open hand slaps with her full power against Jenna's mom's face. A loud smack echoes throughout the street. Lynn can feel people staring. Her hand burns, but it's worth it imagining what Jenna's mom's face must burn like. Jenna's mother is shocked, she takes a few steps back, Lynn thinks she's about to slap back, or kick her, or spit in her face. But nothing, Jenna's mom takes another step, and another. Then she turns around and walks away.

"Lynn..." Lynn softly hears, the gravity of the situation suddenly falls on her shoulders as she sees Jenna's mom get in her car. "Lynn..." she then hears again, she turns around to Jenna. But before she can check if she's okay, Jenna jumps into her arms. Embracing her and nestling her face into Lynn's neck. "Thank you for saying what I never could, you kind of nailed it." She softly giggles, mixed with a raspy voice. Lynn can feel tears splash down onto her neck but just holds Jenna. "Did I really say all of that?" "I don't think you filtered anything out. I'm honestly surprised by how my mom took it." Jenna sniffs. "Hey, how about we go home and just relax there, I'll make some stuff from leftovers and we'll just talk alright?" Lynn softly says, patting Jenna's back. "Alright." Jenna smiles, Lynn can't see it, but she hears it and she feels it. She can just tell it, she has started to know Jenna so well she can know her expression by heart.

So Lynn orders an Uber, which eventually picks them up and drives them home. Jenna is quiet for most of the ride and looks out the window. Lynn's eyes are fixed on Jenna. 'How is she doing? Is she sad? Mad? Confused? Happy?' Lynn asks herself. Her mind raising with all of the possible outcomes. And still, any way she reacts Lynn will stand behind it, she will support her, even through her bad decisions. Whatever she needs right now.

So when they get home, they throw of their shoes and coats and fall down onto the couch. "So..." Jenna says "So." Lynn looks at Jenna, she is just staring straight ahead, no expression. "How are you doing?" Lynn softly asks. "I- I don't know. I...just don't know right. Could you just, you know, hold me. Could you kiss me, like our first time?" Jenna asks, now looking at Lynn, Lynn can see the tears behind her stare and almost lunches forwards, pulling Jenna in close. Putting her hand on the back of Jenna's head and closing her eyes. Their lips meet, the kiss is intense, filled with love and a bunch of other emotions. The kiss slows down eventually, they part their lips and move in for a hug. Jenna rests her head on Lynn's chest and Lynn just holds Jenna. Keeping her safe from the world, just keeping her here. In the moment, together. "I love you Lynn, you've been nothing but amazing to me." "That's not true, I ignored your feelings before...well everything." "And look how you came back, you fucking chased after me. What kind of insane person does that?" Jenna chuckles softly, Lynn feels her breath hit her chest. An unusually comforting feeling. "A person that's in love. I will do anything for you Jenna, I promise you that. Every step you take, I will be right there to take it with you. I love you more than I knew I could love." Lynn says, gliding her hand over Jenna's are. "Shut up. I love you more." Jenna softly says, her voice soft and shy. "If you say so Jenna." "I know so, I love you."
