Lynn and Jenna rest on the couch for what feels like hours, sitting there. Talking softly to each other while looking at the sky outside. "Lynn?" "What's up Jenn?" "Can we leave? Like...soon." "What?" "Can we go to your place." "We are, in a little bit we'll go back there." "No but I mean like...now." "Now?" "Yeah, I don't think I want to stay around here much longer." "Why not, what's up?" "Well, it's just this place. All of it reminds me of my mom. I don't want that. All I need is your cozy place. Your cozy room. And you." "Jenna..." "I can gather the most of my stuff now. If you don't mind, I'd like to leave as soon as possible." "I'm sorry Jenna." "Don't be, it's just my mom. Everything around her just sucks." "You don't." "Lynn, I don't know." "I do, you are not your mother, you are nothing alike." "Lynn, it's alright. I try to be different from her but I am still her daughter." "Jenna you're not her, you don't resemble her one bit." "But I do though. Those anger outbursts. Like on New Year's eve. I lashed out at you a left you alone. I wandered of into a dark city while having no fucking clue where I was, and I just abandoned the one person I actually knew wouldn't hurt me, someone who would accept me." "Jenna, it's okay. Because you are worth caring for." "But I am so shitty at having to depend on people. And letting them depend on me." "Jenna it's alright. I am here regardless of what happened with your mom and everything. I am here to love you, care for you and be with you for the rest of our lives. I know it can be hard, I am here for you. Even if you don't want me to be at times. I will always be there if you need to talk." Lynn smiles, staring into Jenna's eyes as she sees tears form. "How the fuck did I meet my soulmate?" Jenna asks with a smile. Lynn tightly grabs a hold of Jenna and softly sheds a tear. "Because you deserve it."
"So, I can get us on a flight tomorrow. It will probably be packed and shitty, but we can get out of here." Lynn says, having her laptop in her lap as Jenna sits next to her, head on Lynn's shoulder while scrolling through her phone. "Yeah you mean I will get us on a flight. You're not paying." Jenna says. "oh come on, still this?" Lynn groans with a smile. "Yes exactly that, you are not paying for plane tickets and baggage. Let me spend my fame money." Jenna says in a fake posh accent. "Fineeee! But I'm paying for dinner then." Lynn says, opening her phone and scrolling through nearby places to order from. "Pizza?" Lynn asks. Jenna raises a thumb with a small smile Jalapeños for you I presume?" "You know me well, I'm still a sucker for spicy foods." "And a pepperoni for me." Lynn ticks in the order and pays. "And you wanted to cook every night here." "Yeah, yeah, yeah I know. I didn't fulfil my promise." "That's alright, a your cooking is amazing but just ordering is still always good." Jenna smiles.
They wait for the food to arrive while setting up some old wine Jenna had in her fridge and sitting down. Once the pizza arrives Lynn takes it from the delivery guy and tips the biggest bill she could find in the bag she brought. "Dinnerrr!" Lynn smiles as she carries two boxes into the living room. Jenna cutely extends her arms to take them with a smile before Jenna sits down next to her. They eat and drink and just talk, just like nothing happened. As if that morning didn't happen. The entire week and next week just face out of existence, all of the bad things do at least. It's just the two of them in a moment, they can rest, eat, drink and just talk together like they hadn't just had such amazing weeks. Everything just happens in that moment, the world around them freezes as they just spend time together. Everything feels comfortable and safe.
"How about we head to bed already, a long flight again tomorrow, and we can pack in the morning." Lynn says. "Sure, I'm pretty tired after today. It was...a lot." Jenna sighs. They clean up the glasses and boxes and Jenna heads up to shower while Lynn looks out the window and dials her mom. Lynn tells her that their day has been...somewhat relaxing. She doesn't want to worry her mom, she'll tell her when they get back. After Jenna turns of the shower Lynn and her mom say their goodbye's before hanging up. "Your turn!" Jenna winks. Walking completely naked through the hallway as Lynn walks upstairs. To think that Lynn never even dared to think about that before these last few days, she got all flustered seeing Jenna in her underwear already. Well Lynn still does but not in the way she did before. Lynn takes a shower for the last time at Jenna's place, she will miss this shower. Maybe they should replace hers when they get back.
Lynn immediately crawls into bed with Jenna after she finishes her shower. "Sleep tight Lynn." Jenna says. "Wow, not even a dirty remark or talk before we go to sleep. Not even a comment on that I'm naked? Ahw sweetie, you must be exhausted." Lynn smirks. "I am...tired as fuck." Jenna yawns. "And nice tits." She whispers. Why did Lynn have to mention that. She rolls her eyes with a smile as she feels her face get red. "Goodnight Jenna." Lynn says as Jenna snuggles up against her. "Goodnight Jenna, I love you." "...Love you too." Jenna whispers before promptly falling asleep. Lynn looks at her a little while before relaxing in the bed for one last night and falling asleep with her.
The bell sounds. Lynn abruptly is woken up as she hears it for a second time, thinking the first was in her dream. She looks at the clock. "It's one at night, what the fuck!?" Lynn thinks.
