A Special Appearance

Chapter 71

Jenna cries in Lynn's arms, Lynn comforts her, she also wants to cry, but right now she wants to make sure that Jenna is okay. She holds Jenna tightly as she let's her know how much she loves her and that everything will be okay, it will be, Lynn thinks. "Well at least there is another reason to move in with you. My mom won't be there." Jenna softly jokes as she calms down a little. Lynn chuckles, relieved that Jenna is still able to make her jokes. "Well yeah I guess, but you'll always have me, and my mom." Lynn reassures. "You are so nice, you both are. The way your mom treated me was amazing, she was so nice and so sweet. She is everything I would've wanted my mom to be." "Jenn, you are a part of our family now, in a way she is your mom. And trust me she will do her best to get to know you as well as she know me. Even though it was annoying at times, she always tries her best to know everything about me. But it is also nice at times, she notices when something is wrong or even good. She noticed that I was in love with you before I myself did. She is a good mom, I don't tell her enough but she really is." "Thank you Lynn, I love you." Jenna says, before wiping her tears. She let's go and gives Lynn a kiss on her cheek and smiles softly. "I love you too, now have you had breakfast already?" "No I didn't get the chance to yet." "How about I make us some." Lynn smiles, taking Jenna by her hand and leading her to the kitchen.

Lynn lifts Jenna up and puts her on the kitchen counter. She grabs some eggs from the fridge and starts making scrambled eggs. "Wow, remember when you made this on our first day together. After cuddling for the first time." Jenna smiles, her eyes still red and her cheeks puffy, it's not the best situation but she looks cute. "Yeah, because someone 'Slept better while cuddling with someone' am I right?" "I mean, I slept great that evening, I had this nice girl that was holding me while I slept, I loved it." "Yeah I did too, but that's not what I mean. Looking back on it, you are a mastermind. Starting from day one with all your tricks." Lynn smiles "And somehow you didn't know until I told you." Jenna chuckles. "Okay, okay. Still I am so grateful you did it, now I probally can't sleep without cuddling with you anymore." "No me neither, good thing we don't have to anymore. But we are getting a new bed right?" "Yeah probably, I knew it wasn't amazing but after sleeping on the cloud you have here it will feel even worse probably." Lynn laughs.

She finishes the eggs and plates them, handing Jenna one and standing next to her, and leans on the counter. They eat together, just smile and say a few words in between bites. But Lynn can't ignore the situation that just went down. Yet it seems like that is exactly what they're doing. They just continue to live. Well, life just goes on, they had their moment and it just keeps going, they'll talk about it again later, Lynn knows that. But it feels so surreal. "It's still bothering you huh?" Jenna asks. "Well, yeah I guess so. It feels so weird, I just yelled at your mom to leave the house and threatened to hit her, again." Lynn says. "Well yeah, but I don't really think it's a bad thing." "No?" "Not really, of course it's shitty that my mom does stuff like this, but you stood up for me, like not even in a small way, this is amazing!" Jenna smiles, she puts down her plate and pulls Lynn in between her legs. "You are so goddamn amazing and you showed it, I love you, and I am so thankful for what you did for me, what you do for me. And you show me every day how amazing you are and all the things that you do for me show how you love me, that is the best feeling ever. I don't mind to get it in these great ways, even when the because is shitty, what you do is so amazing." Jenna says. Lynn loves hearing her share her emotions like this, and in a way she agrees. It's nice that she is able to stand up for Jenna like this, but she shouldn't have to. "Thank you Jenn, you are amazing." Lynn smiles softly. She kisses Jenna sweetly.

"So what do we do today?" Lynn asks, "I was just thinking about taking another walk, it's nice to walk with you, plus I can get this landscape better in my memory before we move away." Jenna suggests. "Sounds good, let me get into something a bit better and I think we can go." Lynn smiles. She kisses Jenna once more before walking away to change. "Take a pic for me?" Jenna asks, Lynn rolls her eyes and continues to walk with a small smile. Lynn changes into some clothes she can actually show herself in, she does take a quick pic after she's dressed, making a heart with one hand while she takes a picture in the mirror. She sends it to Jenna before walking downstairs, she hears an audible squeal as she presumes Jenna opens the picture. Lynn smiles and comes downstairs to see an even wider smiling Jenna. "Fuck you are cute." Jenna says before getting of the counter and to hug Lynn. "You are even cuter." Lynn smiles, they let go and walk to the hallway. They put on their shoes and open the door to a bright blue sky. "It's nice out." Lynn smiles softly, Jenna takes her hand and agrees "Yeah, way better than that storm at least." Jenna says. They walk out the gate and onto the streets, just going some random way. "Let's make this day great again." Jenna smiles. "I love the optimism, let's do it. I love you." Lynn says. "Love you too, more even." Jenna says. Lynn blushes, how is this amazing girl her girlfriend.
