THE LIBRARY buzzed with excitement as the book fair officially opened its doors. The morning sun streamed through the large windows, casting a warm glow over the tables laden with books of all genres. Colorful banners and posters adorned the walls, inviting visitors to explore the literary treasures within.

The scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods wafted through the air, mingling with the faint smell of printed paper. The soft hum of conversation and occasional bursts of laughter created a lively atmosphere, filled with the enthusiasm of book lovers young and old.

Authors and local writers sat behind their booths, engaging with readers and signing copies of their books. Children gathered around the storytelling corner, their eyes wide with wonder as a volunteer animatedly read aloud from a beloved classic. Nearby, a crafts table offered activities for kids, who eagerly colored bookmarks and created their own book-themed art.

In the center of the room, a small stage had been set up for various events throughout the day. Poetry readings, author Q&A sessions, and panel discussions drew in curious onlookers, who sat attentively on folding chairs or stood at the back, engrossed in the presentations.

Haneul moved through the crowd with a smile, answering questions and helping visitors find specific books. She felt a sense of pride seeing the fair come to life, the result of weeks of planning and hard work. She spotted Heeseung across the room, engaged in a lively conversation with a group of attendees, and couldn't help but smile.

A young girl tugged on Haneul's sleeve. "Excuse me, miss, can you help me find a book about dinosaurs?"

"Of course!" Haneul knelt to the girl's level. "Right this way." She led her to a table brimming with children's books. "Here we go. These are all about dinosaurs. Do you have a favorite?"

"Triceratops!" the girl exclaimed, her eyes lighting up.

"Great choice," Haneul said, handing her a colorful book. "Enjoy your reading!"

A bit later, an elderly gentleman approached Haneul, holding a book with a puzzled expression. "I'm looking for a mystery novel by Agatha Christie, but I can't seem to find it."

"Let me help you with that," Haneul responded warmly. She guided him to the mystery section and quickly found the book he was searching for. "Here you go. Enjoy the twists and turns!"

"Thank you, young lady," he said with a grateful smile. "I've been meaning to read this one for ages."

As the day progressed, more people streamed in, filling the library with vibrant energy. Haneul spotted Heeseung across the room and made her way over to him. He was deep in conversation with a middle-aged woman who looked like an author.
