CHAPTER 27

KISSES WERE PLACED ALL OVER
her face as she stiffened, a small smile grazing her lips as she slowly opened her eyes to see Tom looking down at her.

"Everyone is waiting already.", he whispered, placing a kiss on her shoulder as she smiled sleepily.

"I will just get ready and we can go.", she mumbled and stretched herself,until he bones cracked and walked into the bathroom.

She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, washed her face and snapped her fingers, her hair now dry and in loose curls.
She put on her usual base of make up, with an eyeliner and a darker lipstick shade.
Going to her closet, she hummed, taking out the white dress she already chose beforehand and slipped into it.
Spraying some perfume on herself, she sighed and went downstairs.

"Shut up, I said I will be.", Abraxas announced, looking appalled,"I will be the one."

"Please-I will."

"What are you arguing about?", she asked them all, her boyfriend sitting on a couch with an irritated, but amused face.

"The question is who will be godfather of your and Tom's child.", the Malfoy explained, making Nyx eyes widen,"It's clearly me!"

Chaos broke out as everyone argued about being godfather to their child, making Nyx faecpalm and sigh in distress.

"Presents.", she announced loudly, making all of them stop.
Such children.
She walked over to the tree, grabbed 5 presents and walked over to Abraxas,"These are all yours."

She did it to everyone, everyone having 5 gifts-excluding Nyx, who had somehow 8.

A loud gasped caught the attention of everyone and they all turned to Abraxas, who was holding a kind of paper in his hands, his eyes on Nyx.
"You did not."

"Of course, I did.", she replied cheekily as Abraxas cheered, approaching her and hugging her tightly.

"I will meet fucking Vincent Haworth.", the Malfoy nearly squealed, happy about meeting the best quidditch player of their time.

"Read the other paper, you idiot.", Nyx rolled her eyes as Abraxas rushed back, reading it.

"We are pleased to see you audition for us-", the blonde boy stopped dead in his tracks,"Yo-you got me an audition for the international team?"

The girl nodded proudly and Abraxas was close to tears as he bit the inside of his cheek.

"Can it be my turn now?", Damidn questioned and he started opening his gifts.
A gasp fell from his lips as he inspected the golden chain.

"Thank you so-", he was cut of by Nyx.

"That's not all.", she said and took the chain from his hands and put it around his neck.
"Touch it."

The boy touched the necklace and many memories of all of them replayed themselves in his head and a soft smile played on his lips.

"Nyx you didn't.", Nicholas gasped as he held the very first handwritten version of Sherlock Holmes,"Thank you so so so much."

She gifted Rodrick the broom that wasn't even on the market yet and would come out next year, making the boy squeal like a little girl.

The boys went to do their one things as they noticed the couple's wish to be alone and Nyx smiled at her fiancee as she sat next to him.

Tom opened everything from his friends and then turned to Nyx gift.
He slowly opened it and took out a golden watch, probably worth an entire house and read the backside.
'I will be revealed if you need me the most. Love, Nyx.'
"What is the meaning of this, darling?"

She smiled in response and kissed his lips softly,"You will see."

Nyx received a A music box that plays enchanting tunes and possibly projects holographic images or light patterns from Abraxas.
A new coat with small gemstones from Damien, a small box that can open to reveal different items or messages based on specific taps or gestures from Rodrick.
And nearly 10 interesting books from Nicholas.

She turned to the other four and opened a small one.
Inside was a pair of earrings and a diamond necklace, she read the small letter and shook her head.
Abraxas parents were something else.

Turning to open a box, she gasped as she saw a camera inside, in which the photos would come out immediately.
She turned to Tom and kissed his cheek, knowing it was from him.
In another box were numerous luxuries of them or only Nyx, probably all taken by her friends.

Opening the last and smallest gift, it revealed itself to be a golden necklace.
She opened it and a loud gasp left her lips.
A photo of her mother was placed in it and with shaky hands, she caressed the picture.
She turned to Tom with glassy eyes and smiled softly as she closed her eyes and kissed him, deeply.

"You have no idea how thankful I am for this.", she whispered and caressed his cheek,"I love you so much."

He kissed her once again, cupping her jaw as he pulled her closer,"You will never know how much I love you, my Nyx."
