In the dark of night, a Venomari soldier was running through the shady streets of Ninjago City. He was being pursued by the ninjas, who managed to surround him in an alley. When he tried to escape, he crashed into Cole, who stood like a brick wall blocking his way. "Going somewhere?"

The Venomari found himself pinned down with five golden weapons aimed at him. "Uh oh."

Felix stared him down but nudged the Blue Ninja. "This was your plan; you go first."

"Thought you could joyride through town and not be noticed, huh?" Jay teased sharply. "Where's the last Fangblade?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," the snake fibbed.

"You know what it is," Kai shot back. "The fourth Fangblade. When Pythor finds them all, he plans to unleash the Great Devourer."

"Nope. Doesn't ring a bell."

"Look, dude, the fate of all Ninjago kind of rests in our hands, so we aren't in the mood for games," Felix said, leaning down to meet the snake's eye. He gulped. "My patience is wearing thin, so where's the last Fangblade?"

"Oh. That Fangblade," the snake cackled. "You're too late. Pythor's already there now. He's probably already digging it up. If I were you, I'd start preparing for the worst, because when the Great Devourer is awakened, there will be nothing it won't consume."

"Won't that mean it'll consume you too?" Zane asked straightforwardly. With that, the Venomari's façade instantly crumbled.

"Ah! Please, you have to stop him! That snake is crazy! I don't wanna unleash the Great Devourer! I'm a snake, not food!"

"Is it really too late to stop Pythor from getting the last Fangblade?" Felix asked.

"You're days behind him. There's got to be something else you can do!" There had to be something else, or Ninjago would become an all-you-can-eat buffet for a giant monster serpent. The team looked at each other, worried about the possibility of losing this fight.

Back on the Bounty, the team gathered in the bridge, observing the map displayed on the monitor. They pinpointed the next Fangblade location, but it was way on the other side of Ninjago. "It was a good idea, Jay," Felix remarked. "But we're still stuck on square one."

"Tell me about it," Nya agreed with a nod. "The Venomari's right. By the time we cast sail clear across to the other side of Ninjago, Pythor will have already beaten us to the last Fangblade."

Felix banged her head against the desk in frustration. "Just our luck. And the notebook's no help either. Me, Nya, and even Garmadon can't find anything about stopping the Great Devourer that doesn't involve the Fangblades. Of all the information it doesn't have, it had to be what we actually need."

"Oh, come on, guys," Jay interjected. "This is the last one. We gotta get it. We gotta think of something."

"Hmm, maybe we could..." Cole muttered to himself, deep in thought. "No, not that. Ooh, maybe if we... no, no good." He stopped when Felix nudged his foot.

"Dude, you're muttering."

"I don't mutter."

"You do so."

"No, I don't think I did."

"Don't be a butthead."

"Says you, you're the butthead. OUCH!" Cole shouted when Felix kicked him in the shin. That'll teach him to smack-talk a girl to her face.
