"Hey...Hey! Be careful with that skateboard!"
Minho screamed after Evan as they all walked back to his apartment."Oh calm down" Jisung chuckled from his side:
"He knows what he's doing"They had all grouped up after class and Matt had explained his plan all over again.
Apparently, the brothers had an aunt who was willing to come get them and take care of them but they'd need a safe house where to wait for a couple of days since she lived pretty far.
Instantly, Minho had suggested his flat and begrudgingly Jisung had agreed. So now they were basically helping their students run away from home.
"What about your mum?" Jisung asked Matt:
"We'll call her soon, ask her to come with us. I think she'll say yes"
He tried to put on a confident front but it was clear that he was worried.
"So do you two live togheter?" the student asked, changing the subject.
Fast, professor and assistant met eyes, a wave of stress passing over them both:
"Well, no but..." Minho started, scratching his nape in a clear sign of embarassment.
"Ahem. I live a few bus stops from here" interrupted him Jisung:
"I just stop by often to help with school stuff"Matt gave them a calculated smirk:
"If you say so""Where do we go from here?" shouted then Evan, who was way ahead of them.
"Turn left, to the park!" shouted Min back.
Soon they were in.
"Leave your shoes here, go make yourselves comfortable...we'll take care of the extra bed"
The two kids ran into the living room as Jisung and Minho walked to the corridor where the folding bed Changbin had used during Christmas break still stood.
"Well this was an unexpected turn of events" Jisung stated.
"Sure was..."
Silence reigned for a bit as they worked side by side, in sync until they were done.
"Listen... about... our situation..." Jisung started, playing with his hands:
"I'm sorry I rushed you. I understand it must be hard to leave behind the security of this relationship you had...as well as this person you really cared about. And with all the people judging you from the outside too... I hadn't thought about it that way, is all"Minho stared at him intently then smiled softly:
"It's ok. I can't say it's been easy because I'd be lying but...it's done now so... you don't need to worry anymore"
"It's done?" Jisung asked, confused:
"What are you talking about?""I left her" Minho said simply:
"Well, we talked about it and realised it'd be better for both of us since...I'm gay 'n all"Jisung stared at him, awestruck:
"You left her??""Yeah!" Minho's brows furrowed:
"I told you Jisung, I love you not her. Why would I stay in a marriage void of love? Besides, I've done enough thinking and I don't want to deceive you ever again. I want us to be well, just us. Without any secrets or misunderstandings or-"But he couldn't continue because Jisung arms were wrapped around him tight and he was pulled into a warm hug.
"Are you serious?" Jisung was crying.
"I am, of course I am" Minho answered, petting his head softly.
"Say it again"
"What?"
"All of it"
"I chose you, Jisung"
A small kiss on his head.
"And I promise I'll be better for the both of us"
A small kiss on his nose.
"...I love you"
And their lips finally met.
