The following days were challenging for both Taehyung and Jungkook. Especially since his both set of parents and his brothers knew. They knew the road ahead would be difficult, but they were determined to face it together. They made a pact to focus on the present, to cherish each moment, and to communicate openly about their fears and hopes.

One evening, as the sun set behind the city skyline, casting a warm, golden glow across their home, Jungkook found Taehyung sitting by the window, staring out into the distance. He approached quietly, not wanting to startle him.

"Hey," Jungkook said softly, placing a gentle hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "What's on your mind?"

Taehyung turned to look at Jungkook, his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and confusion. "I was just thinking about us," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "About everything we've been through."

Jungkook nodded, sitting down beside him. "We've been through a lot," he agreed, his tone soft and understanding. "But we've always found a way to make it through."

Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's just... sometimes, I don't know what's real and what's just in my head," he admitted, his voice trembling. "Like those divorce papers. I didn't remember us talking about starting over. It felt like my world was falling apart all over again."

Jungkook's heart ached at Taehyung's words. He reached out and took Taehyung's hand, squeezing it gently. "I can't imagine how hard this is for you," he said softly. "But I'm here, Taehyung. Whenever you feel lost or unsure, just look at me. We'll find our way together."

Taehyung looked down at their intertwined hands, a small, sad smile playing on his lips. "I'm scared, Jungkook," he confessed. "Scared that one day, I might forget you completely. Forget us."

Jungkook swallowed the lump in his throat, fighting back tears. "You won't forget us," he said firmly. "Because I'll remind you every day how much I love you. I'll be here, holding your hand, every step of the way."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I don't want to lose you," he whispered. "You're my anchor, my everything."

Jungkook's heart swelled with love and determination. "And you're mine," he replied, his voice strong and steady. "We're in this together, Taehyung. No matter what happens, we'll face it together."

They sat in silence for a while, drawing comfort from each other's presence. The world outside continued to move on, but in that moment, it felt like time had stopped just for them.

After a while, Taehyung spoke again, his voice hesitant. "Jungkook, what if... what if I forget something important again? What if I hurt you without realizing it?"

Jungkook squeezed Taehyung's hand reassuringly. "We'll handle it as it comes," he said gently. "If you forget, I'll remind you. If you hurt me, we'll talk about it and find a way to make things right. We'll figure it out, one day at a time."

Taehyung nodded slowly, taking in Jungkook's words. "I'll try my best," he said quietly. "I don't want to be a burden to you."

"You're not a burden," Jungkook replied, his voice filled with love and conviction. "You're my partner, my best friend, and the love of my life. We'll get through this together."

Taehyung smiled, a flicker of hope shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Jungkook," he said softly. "For being here, for loving me, even when I don't feel like myself."

Jungkook leaned in and kissed Taehyung gently on the forehead. "Always," he whispered against his skin. "I'll always be here for you."

They spent the rest of the evening wrapped in each other's arms, finding solace in their love and the promise of facing whatever the future held, together. As the night deepened, they talked about their dreams, their fears, and their hopes for the days to come, finding strength in their bond and the unwavering belief that their love could weather any storm.

In the quiet moments that followed, Taehyung rested his head on Jungkook's shoulder, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. For now, the fears and uncertainties faded into the background, replaced by the comforting rhythm of Jungkook's heartbeat and the warmth of his embrace. And in that embrace, Taehyung found the courage to face whatever lay ahead, knowing that he was not alone.
