Six years later

Jungkook's presentation were busy, filled with meetings, strategy sessions, and endless streams of emails. Despite the hectic pace, there was a comforting routine in their lives that kept them grounded. Jungkook and Taehyung had found a rhythm, balancing their professional duties with their personal lives, always finding moments of affection and warmth amidst the chaos.

One crisp morning, the Kings Department Store's boardroom was once again the setting for a high-stakes meeting. This time, it was a quarterly review, where department heads presented their progress and future plans to the top executives. As the Legal Director, Jungkook had prepared extensively, ready to showcase the legal team's achievements and their plans for supporting the company's growth.

Taehyung, seated at the head of the table, looked every bit the powerful CEO. His demeanor was calm and authoritative, commanding respect from everyone in the room. Beside him, Namjoon, the Vice President, wore a thoughtful expression, always the analytical mind. Across from them, Mr. Kim, the President, exuded a quiet confidence, observing the proceedings with a keen eye.

Jungkook stood at the front of the room, his presentation ready to go. He took a deep breath, glancing at Taehyung, who gave him a small, encouraging nod. The connection between them was palpable, a silent understanding that they were a team, both in life and in business.

"Good morning, everyone," Jungkook began, his voice steady and clear. "Today, I'll be presenting an overview of our legal department's accomplishments over the past quarter and our strategic initiatives moving forward."

As Jungkook launched into his presentation, outlining key legal victories and highlighting proactive measures to mitigate risks, Taehyung listened intently, his eyes never leaving his husband. Jungkook's passion and expertise were evident, and Taehyung couldn't help but feel a swell of pride.

About halfway through the presentation, Jungkook paused to address a particularly challenging case they had recently won. "This victory was crucial for us," he said, his gaze briefly meeting Taehyung's. "It required a lot of late nights and detailed work, but I knew we couldn't afford to lose. I told myself, 'We've got this, baby tiger,' and it reminded me why we fight so hard for our company."

The room was silent for a moment as the words sank in. Taehyung's eyes widened slightly, and a faint blush crept up his cheeks. He maintained his composed exterior, but there was no hiding the slight pout that formed on his lips. Namjoon suppressed a chuckle, his eyes twinkling with amusement, while Mr. Kim lips curved into a knowing smile.

Jungkook continued, unfazed by the reactions. He loved calling Taehyung 'baby tiger,' a nickname that was both endearing and playful. It was a reminder of the soft, tender side of Taehyung that only he got to see, even if it sometimes slipped into their professional life.

"Director Jeom," Taehyung interjected softly, his voice carrying just enough authority to keep the meeting professional. "Let's stay focused on the presentation."

Jungkook nodded, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Of course, CEO Kim," he replied, emphasizing Taehyung's title with a teasing smile. He then smoothly transitioned back into his detailed breakdown of upcoming legal strategies.

As the presentation continued, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a mixture of exasperation and affection. Jungkook's playful demeanor was something he cherished deeply, even if it occasionally disrupted his carefully maintained façade of seriousness. Despite his best efforts to appear stern, the warmth in Taehyung's eyes betrayed his true feelings.

Once Jungkook wrapped up his presentation, the room broke into applause. Seokjin was the first to speak. "Excellent work, Jungkook. Your dedication and the legal team's accomplishments are truly impressive. We're fortunate to have you leading our legal efforts."

"Thank you, Mr. Kim," Jungkook replied with a respectful nod, though his gaze quickly shifted to Taehyung, seeking his husband's approval.

Taehyung cleared his throat, his expression softening as he addressed Jungkook. "You've done a remarkable job, Jungkook. Your leadership and insight are invaluable to us."

Jungkook beamed, the genuine praise from Taehyung meaning more to him than anything else. "I appreciate that, Taehyung," he said warmly. "It's an honor to be part of this team."

Namjoon leaned back in his chair, grinning. "Great presentation, Jungkook. And nice touch with the 'baby tiger' comment. It's good to see that even our formidable CEO can be softened up."

Taehyung shot Namjoon a half-hearted glare, but the corners of his mouth twitched, unable to suppress a smile. "Let's keep the focus on business," he said, though his tone lacked any real bite.

As the meeting adjourned, and the board members began to disperse, Taehyung and Jungkook lingered for a moment. Taehyung approached Jungkook, his eyes still holding that hint of a blush.

"Did you really have to call me that in front of everyone?" Taehyung asked, his voice a mixture of annoyance and affection.

Jungkook chuckled, stepping closer to Taehyung. "I couldn't resist," he admitted, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You know I love seeing you blush. Besides, it's a good reminder that even the toughest CEOs have a soft side."

Taehyung sighed, shaking his head. "You're impossible," he said, though his tone was laced with love. "But I suppose that's part of why I love you."

Jungkook smiled, reaching out to gently touch Taehyung's cheek. "And I love you, baby tiger," he said softly, leaning in to kiss Taehyung's lips.

Taehyung's blush deepened, but he returned the kiss, his arms wrapping around Jungkook's waist. For a moment, the boardroom fell away, and they were simply two people in love, finding solace and joy in each other's embrace.

When they finally pulled apart, Taehyung rested his forehead against Jungkook's, a contented sigh escaping his lips. "Thank you," he whispered. "For everything. For being my rock, my partner, and for reminding me to smile, even in the midst of all this."

Jungkook's heart swelled with affection. "Always," he replied softly. "We're in this together, remember? No matter what."

They stood there for a while longer, savoring the warmth of their love and the promise of the future they were building together. And in that quiet, shared moment, they found strength and comfort, knowing that as long as they had each other, they could face anything the world threw their way.
