...
Well, at least he was right about her being on the train.
Tsukishima simply watched her sleeping figure, and how peaceful she looked right then and there. He really couldn't believe she had come all the way here, two hours on a train, alone, and at night. It made him want to flick her forehead and tell her how stupid she is, but at the moment, he could only feel a wave of relief wash over him. He wasn't even sure why he felt so relieved. Was it because he was able to find her, or simply because she was looking for him so desperately?
Getting out of his thoughts, he breathed out and finally took a seat next to her. Her head was still leaned against the window, and he wondered how long she'd been asleep like this. Her neck must've been hurting from the position. He wanted to adjust her but was afraid to wake her up. But eventually he argued that he'd have to wake her up soon anyways to make sure they get off at the next stop, so they could meet his brother there. He carefully reached an arm to grab her chin gently, her cheek peeling off of the glass, and plopped her head on his shoulder ever so slightly.
He was amazed that she was still sleeping so soundly.
Y/n suddenly snuggled up closer, wrapping an arm around his arm, leaving them quite literally interlocked. Tsukishima's felt his heart rate go up. He was thankful that she was asleep or else she may have noticed the thumping of his heart thanks to their proximity. She was warm, he thought. He wondered if she thought the same of him because of the tight hold she had on his arm, even during sleep.
There were only a few more minutes left until the next stop. For now, Tsukishima would indulge in these next few minutes before he would have to awake her from her slumber.
...
It was warm.
Was she dreaming? This warmth she was feeling, it reminded her of Tsukishima's bed. The smell of his laundry detergent was permeating her nose as well. She was wrapped up in the comforting warmth of his sheets, accompanied by the scent of his shampoo as well.
Dreaming about sleeping in his bed... what a silly vision.
"Y/n."
Was that Tsukishima's voice? She hadn't heard that in a minute.
"Y/n, wake up."
"...I don't want to... it's so warm and comfy."
This was only a dream, and yet she didn't want to leave. It had felt so real and she wasn't quite ready to wake up and go back to reality.
"Y/n."
"Ah," Y/n was startled awake. She blinked a few times trying to adjust her eyes to her surroundings. As she wiped an eye in a circular motion with her index finger and looked beside her, she almost jumped out of seat when she locked eyes with a certain four eyes. "Oh my god."
Tsukishima???? Was on the train, next to her??? Since when? She was asleep? How far were they from the station? But most importantly, why was he here?
"Tsukishima... I...."
"Calm down." He said. He peeked from over her shoulder to take a look out the window. "We'll get off at the next station."
"But... where are we?"
"We're about 40 minutes away from the place I'm staying at. We have to get off at this next station because this will be the last stop of the night."
Y/n blinked in shock, then looked behind Tsukishima, the train being nearly empty. "40 minutes? Why didn't you wake me up? How are you going to get back?"
