"That was delicious." Y/n said, as she finished up the last of her plate.

"I'm glad you liked it!" Ms. Tsukishima said cheerfully. "You want more?"

"Oh, no. I'm stuffed."

"Hehe, okay." She reached for y/n's plate and walked over to the sink, beginning to wash the dishes and clean up.

Y/n looked beside her, to which Akiteru was still finishing up his meal. Tsukishima was in the shower, since he'd been the last to go after all three of them finished.

"Mm... shall we watch a movie?" Akiteru asked, mouth half-stuffed. "You should go pick something, y/n."

"What do you guys wanna watch?" She asked.

"Anything you pick is fine." Akiteru smiled.

"Okay." Y/n stood up from the dining table, and took a seat on the living room couch. She turned on the tv and began scrolling through a catalog of movies. Eventually, she'd settled on a horror movie, feeling a bit nostalgic because horror was what she'd picked when she first watched a movie together with Tsukishima. A few minutes later, everyone gathered around the living room, including Tsukishima, who was fresh out of the shower.

The four-eyes took a seat next to her, Akiteru on the other end of the couch. The boys' mom took the recliner next to the couch since the three of them took up most of the space already.

An hour in, and y/n could hardly focus on the movie because of Tsukishima. Hell, he wasn't doing anything but watching the goddamned movie. But maybe it was exactly that reason why she couldn't focus. By now, she was already expecting him to grab her hand or something or sit at least a little closer. All this anticipation was driving her mad. Yet, he did nothing.

Thirty minutes later... a snore could be heard from beside her. It startled her awake because her eyes were beginning to droop. She thought it was Tsukishima, but peeked over to see Akiteru's head lolled over his shoulder. She glanced at his mom as well, who was snuggled up in her blanket, also getting some shut eye.

Tsukishima caught her gaze. "You still watching?" He whispered.

Y/n shook her head. "I'm tired." She watched Tsukishima reach for the tv remote on the coffee and shut off the tv. Afterwards, she stood up and the four eyes did as well. They walked together to their rooms together silently, and y/n stopped in front of door, grabbing the doorknob. Before she could turn it, the boy behind her spoke quietly. "Wait."

She turned around.

"You're not tired yet, are you?"

To be quite honest, she definitely was tired after swimming and all that but she'd reply 'no' to that question in a heartbeat, riding on pure anticipation. She shook her head.

"...Come here." He said.

Y/n's heart was already racing. "Okay." She let go of the doorknob to her room and walked in after Tsukishima into his room, closing the door shut behind her.

Once the door clicked shut behind her, he suddenly turned around and took a couple steps forward so that y/n's whole back was pressed against the door. He placed a hand on the door beside her head, nearly trapping her, but with still room to exit. Suddenly, she wasn't feeling so tired anymore. Her heart beat loudly, waiting in anticipation to see what he'd do next. What she hadn't expected though, was for him to drop his hand and take a few steps back. "...Sorry. I invited you to my room, but I don't even know what I'm trying to do." He let out a defeated laugh.

Y/n's eyes widened at what seemed to be slight insecurity. The barely-noticeable look of disappointment on his face pulled at her heartstrings. She wanted to reassure him. "It's okay. There doesn't need to be some sort of plan. I'm already happy that you want to hang out." She tried to hold back a smile when she noticed the tips of ears turn red.
