The next day, Hira and Shubman's entire family were bustling around, making preparations for their trip to Fazilka. Hira chose to wear a rich red kurta adorned with intricate golden embroidery details. She paired it with matching red pants and a red dupatta that featured an exquisite golden border and embroidery work. Large statement earrings completed her look, along with her hair styled in loose waves and a natural, radiant makeup look. Her bright smile added to her already stunning appearance.

As they left for Shubman's village, Hira found herself captivated by the scenic beauty outside. She kept looking out the window, fully immersing herself in the picturesque view, the lush green fields, and the simple charm of rural Punjab.

In the car, Hira and Keart, engaged in a lively conversation. Keart gently explained the cultural nuances and what to expect in Fazilka, offering a blend of advice and affectionate caution.

"Beta, Fazilka mein sab log bahut simple aur pyar karne wale hain. Bus, kuch cheezein hain jo dhyan mein rakhni hongi," Keart began with a warm smile. "Wahan ke log bahut hi traditional hain. Tumhe sar pe dupatta rakhna padhega jab aap Kake ke dada-dadi se miloge aur jab hum gurudwara jayenge."

Hira nodded, absorbing every word. "Ji, mummyji. Mein sab dhyan rakhungi," she replied respectfully.

"And remember, Hira," Keart continued, "wahan par sab ko namaste ya sat sri akal keh kar greet karna."

"Bilkul, mummyji. Main sab follow karungi," Hira assured, her voice filled with determination.

Shubman, sitting nearby, couldn't resist teasing Hira. "Mummy, aap Hira ko itna mat daraiye. Woh already nervous hai," he joked.

Keart chuckled and patted Hira's hand. "Nervous kyun? Hira toh humari beti jaisi hai. Aur waise bhi, isse sab pata hai."

Just then, Shubman's dad, Lakhwinder, decided to join in. "Oye Shubman, Leave Hira alone, tu driving pe dhyan de. Har cheez mein masti karni hai isne," he teased his son, making everyone burst into laughter.

Shahneel leaned over and whispered to Hira, "Don't worry too much. Just be yourself and enjoy. Sab kuch theek hoga."

Hira smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. She continued listening to Keart's guidance, taking mental notes of everything she needed to remember. The car ride was filled with laughter, love, and a sense of belonging, making Hira feel like she was truly becoming a part of Shubman's family.

As they approached Fazilka, Hira couldn't help but admire the picturesque beauty of the village. The landscape was adorned with vast green fields stretching as far as the eye could see, dotted with patches of vibrant mustard flowers swaying gently in the breeze. The sun cast a golden glow over the fields, creating a serene and enchanting ambiance.

Traditional Punjabi homes, with their flat roofs and whitewashed walls, stood amidst the lush greenery. Children played joyfully on the streets, their laughter echoing through the air. Farmers tended to their crops, their turbans bright and colorful against the green backdrop. The narrow, winding roads were lined with tall trees providing shade and adding to the charm of the village.

Shubman, driving the car, glanced at Hira through the rearview mirror and saw her eyes wide with wonder, taking in the scenic beauty. Their eyes met, and she winked at him, causing him to blush. Shahneel, sitting beside Hira, noticed this exchange and couldn't resist teasing her brother.

"Oho, Kake! Aaj toh tera full-on romantic mode mein ho!" she teased, her voice filled with playful mockery.

Shubman tried to hide his embarrassment, but the pink tint on his cheeks gave him away. "Shut up, didi," he muttered, trying to focus on the road.
