"Do you have anyone you're interested in at school, Rinji?" I asked.
"Not really... Am I supposed to...?" He hugged his knees.
"It's not required. If you don't like anyone like that, that's perfectly normal. I have a friend who isn't interested in romantic relationships. None of us are alone in what we feel."
"You said before we could ride in a limousine with your friend..."
I laughed. "Right, I'm sorry I forgot! Should I call my friend and see when we could get that ride?"
"Yes!"
I called Atsutane who answered quickly. I told him there were some kids who would like to ride in a limousine if that was alright with him and his family.
"Of course!" He said. "We've got multiple limos, it's no problem to take one out for a joyride."
"Thanks! When would work for you?"
"I don't have anything going on right now, should I head over?"
"Really?" I looked at the kids, Rinji leaning close in excitement as he tried to eavesdrop on our conversation. Then I leaned back since the couch was in the way to look at Rikiya. "Can we take the kids out today?"
Rikiya looked annoyed. "Fine. Don't stay out too late, they've got school tomorrow."
"Alright, you can come over Atsutane! Let me tell you the address."
Rinji couldn't contain his excitement anymore and ran around, not being able to sit still. Sassa woke up and ran with him. Atsutane arrived soon thankfully and the kids ran outside. I glanced at Anzai before following. Rikiya claimed they needed a rematch so they'd stay behind. I was glad it seemed like he trusted me with his siblings.
Atsutane greeted the kids before showing them inside the vehicle. Rinji was excitedly checking every nook and cranny. Atsutane supervised him as he sat in the driver's seat, pretending to turn the wheel. Miiko and Sassa were more calm and enjoyed sitting in the back. Sassa pointed at the drink bar.
"What's that?"
"Sometimes adults like to have parties in here and drink special drinks. It's not for kids though. If you want something to drink, I could get you some juice."
Sassa nodded in response and moved on quickly as she climbed on the seats and continued moving across them in a circle. Miiko supervised and kept her from falling or messing with any gadgets.
I went up to see Atsutane and Rinji in the driver's seat. "Did you drive it here yourself? I didn't know you had a license."
"I got one for fun," Atsutane responded. "I rarely use it though. It was fun to drive after a while! The butler was nervous, explaining how to drive it though, haha!"
"I mean, I wouldn't know how to drive something as long as this... Turning would scare me."
"Well, I made it here unscathed! I should be able to do it again!"
"Should you really be driving?!"
Despite my anxiety, we went for a ride with him driving. I held onto Sassa for dear life in the back, hoping I could protect her in case something happened. The ride felt smooth though and the kids excitedly looked out the tinted windows. Music played from the speakers and Rinji decided to show off his dance moves. We laughed and had fun.
When we got back to their house, the kids seemed tired. Rikiya urged them to get ready for bed.
"How'd it go?" He asked me.
