That's an awesome vibe that you're feeling strong and no one messes with you now that you're a sophomore! It's great that we've learned to stand up for ourselves over the years. Having best friends like Aadhya and Dia to chat with about all sorts of things must be cool.

"Hey Saakshi, how's your day going so far?" Dia cheerfully greeted me as she walked towards me.

"Hey, Dia! It's been pretty good. How about you?" I replied. I was exhausted after the lecture, but my friend seemed energetic despite the hectic class.

"What did you think of the assignment we got yesterday?" Dia asked, starting a discussion about our studies and classes. It's typical of top students, I thought sarcastically. Lucky me, I sighed.

"Oh, that assignment was tough! I'm still trying to figure it out. Have you started working on it?" I inquired.

"Yeah, I started a bit. Maybe we can work on it together later at the library." Dia said and there I just nodded without any other option.

We were busy discussing the upcoming lectures, and our classmates until I overheard someone I despise the most - Anaya and her friends.

"They are not fit for anything, they know nothing but studying," we heard some girls say. I realized they were talking about Dia. It's tough hearing someone talk like that about your friend. It can stir up some strong emotions. I felt the urge to punch their faces into a pulp. How dare they insult my friend.

Dia's comforting words whispered in my ear, "It's okay, calm down," echoed like a soothing melody amidst the storm of emotions. Her presence is akin to my grandmother. Dia's unwavering nature, resembling that of a well-mannered and disciplined girl, offered a beacon of calm in chaos, reminding me of the power of composure and kindness in the face of adversity.

"Defeat us if you've guts," I challenged them, feeling the fire of determination burning within me. Their constant provocations had pushed me to my limit, and I refused to back down any longer. Little did they know that Dia's prowess extended beyond academics; she excelled in sports as well. With a surge of confidence, I proposed a basketball match, confident in Dia's abilities to shine on the court.

Dia tied her hair in a ponytail and stepped onto the basketball court with a determined look in her eyes. The familiar sound of the ball bouncing against the hardwood floor filled the air as she started dropping, her movements were precise and controlled.

As Dia made her way down the court, her agility and speed were on full display. She maneuvered past defenders, her quick footwork allowed her to create openings for shots. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the ball soaring toward the hoop

The game will be over in a while, our points are equal. My anxiety levels increased and I was trembling with tension. Dia might have pressure on her, We're stuck in a quandary. Dia threw the ball in the basketball hoop.

Despite the intensity of the game, Dia's face lit up with a bright smile, her love for basketball evident in every move she made.

In the final moments of the game, with the score tied, Dia found herself in a pivotal position. With seconds remaining on the clock, she took a deep breath and focused on the task at hand. In a swift motion, she drove towards the basket, her eyes locked on the hoop. We were stuck in a quandary, the ball left her fingertips and sailed through the net as the buzzer sounded, signaling a victory for my Dia team.

"My god Dia we won!" I exclaimed with happiness. I asked her how she felt when the scores were equal. She said she was fine, not feeling pressured because she had confidence in winning. Those girls were throwing tantrums at us, and I laughed at their facial expressions. It must have been quite a satisfying moment to see their reactions after the victory! Dia's calm and confidence truly paid off in the end.
