When I reached the location my eyes were looking for her.... Then I heard the melodious voice of my Saakshi she was laughing wholeheartedly. Looking at her a chuckle left me. It's been so many days since I saw her laughing but she's laughing with a stranger. I don't like the feeling I'm going through Am I being jealous? When I looked at her, she was talking and grinning at his words. I didn't know what they were talking about, but it did seem like she was enjoying his company. I hid behind the tree, trying to eavesdrop on their conversation, but it was no use. I felt like I was spying on them. I was on a detective mission. I had never done this kind of thing before, but now I wanted to do anything to get my Saakshi back. I was hoping that she'd reject him but the way she's talking with him makes my poor heart lose hope... Then I found a kid who was busy playing a little crazy thought popped into my Brian to ruin her date. Kids are Saakshi's weaknesses she never denies them ..... I asked the kid to play with Saakshi. At first, he denied me, but soon, he accepted my proposal when I showed him a bunch of chocolates in hand. He happily took them and gave me an assured smile.
He went to her and asked her to play with him; he asked cutely. No one Denies it if a kid asks like that. I smiled at my plan, thinking that it would work. "You're alone here? Don't you have a friend?" She asked him to ruffle his hair.
"He isn't feeling well, sissy, so he didn't show up today. I'm alone, Sissy. Why don't you play with me? You're looking like an angel," he pouted. I asked him to play with her, but he's saying sugar-coated words these days kids are unbelievable." You're looking like a considerate girl. Please play with me," he cooed.
She melted with his cuteness and started playing with him ... She took him in her lap and asked about him and his family and his friends. He filled her with details about him, and he shared chocolate with her which was given by me.
"Ohhhh, you're so kind-hearted, Kid. You're even sharing chocolate with me." She planted a kiss on his cheek. The guy who's her blind date is now losing his patience. This is what I want... The kid asked her to play with him, and he showed all of his toys to her... She exclaimed, and she asked him with an innocent face, "Can I play with you?" The kid nodded, and they both started playing. I saw the guy start walking... In a fraction of a second, he stood behind her when she raised her head to look at him." You may continue with him. I've some urgent work, and give me your answer by night." She nodded, and he left without wasting a second. I started taking strides towards her mustering up my courage.
Saakshi stood before me, clearly taken aback by my unexpected appearance. Initially, she seemed indifferent, her gaze fixed on the ground, almost as if trying to avoid any interaction. I struggled to gather the courage to speak, sensing the weight of my emotions and the gravity of the moment.
"Why should I listen to you? You're no one to me," she finally uttered, her words sharp and laced with hurt. Her eyes, though downcast, betrayed a hint of vulnerability as tears welled up, prompting her to wipe them away with a quick, dismissive gesture.
Before the tension could escalate further, the child interrupted, innocently offering chocolates and inadvertently breaking the tension. Saakshi's demeanor softened momentarily, but her underlying frustration remained evident. "So this is your childish act to ruin my date?" she snapped, addressing me with a mix of irritation and disbelief.
Feeling the weight of her words and the situation, I pleaded with her, desperate for her to understand. "Are you sick of me, Saakshi? Why don't you listen to me at least once?" I implored, hoping to convey the sincerity of my feelings. She demanded I release her wrist, and as I reluctantly let go, she began to walk away, seemingly resolved to put an end to our encounter.
It was then, with a surge of emotion and vulnerability, that I confessed, "I love you." Saakshi halted in her tracks, visibly stunned by my heartfelt admission. The air around us seemed to hold its breath as we both stood there, uncertain of what would come next, our emotions hanging in the balance
