When I walked early in the morning I dreamt of my granny. In my dream, she embraced me and said that I'd be happy these days... God listened to all her prayers and asked me to be brave in difficulties. I became the happiest soul after meeting my granny in my dream I was wondering how my sorrows would terminate. Then I heard my Dad calling me. I was bewildered when he told me to go on a blind date. I never anticipated this from my Dad's side. Oh God Don't tell me that this is the blessing of my Granny. I don't wanna start my life with some other guy. At first, I rejected him but he insisted on going. He gave a word to Ayaan. I can't let my Dad down when he promised someone. I'm not interested in marrying anyway. It's just a meeting telling all these to myself. I went to meet him.
When I met Ayaan, I found him interesting. He's a jovial person, and he tries to make others happy around him. He's telling me everything about him. I wanted to reject him, but seeing him in an exciting situation, I couldn't help but listen to all of the talks. If I'm not in love with Ric I'm sure I'll give my hand in marriage with him. I'm not regretting that I loved Ric. I enjoyed every second I spent with him; we spent only a few days together, but those days' memories were enough to live my eternity thinking about him. Sometimes, I feel like listening to him change our current situation, but something is bothering me that I'll end up crying. I lost myself in the chain of thoughts Ayaan words brought me back to my senses.
"Uncle told me about this. Thank god he informed me, or else I'll be a moron" I was bewildered. My Dad informed him? What was that?
" He told me that you'll always live in thoughts of the world rather than the human world." I laughed, listening to him. I'm feeling uneasy. I felt like someone was watching my actions I felt someone's presence behind me.
"So Ayaan, is this your first blind date?" I asked him.
"No, I had a girlfriend I broke up with her because of my mom"
"Your mom .... Why was that?"I crossed my arms over my chest.
"My girlfriend pressurized me to take my home I denied her but she insisted on going so I gave up and took her to my home"
"They both greeted each other. I thought mom liked her and she'd accept her, then I asked her," Why did you love my son? I mean, what do you like about my son?" What type of question is that? I rolled my eyes.
"Exactly I retaliated but Mom asked me to stay silent then my girlfriend started speaking"
"He's kinda fun, Aunty. He's a kind-hearted person. He loves to tease everyone. He always stood by my side, blah blah blah," he said his girlfriend's words to, Sakshi.
"I heard you never scolded him. That's why he's so into you. Am I correct?" His mother asked her. "You know what she replied to my mom about that question" I was listening to everything carefully, "She said adults Aunty we can do whatever we want I don't mind at all she said, soon my mom threw the floor on her face," he said in the middle of laughs his mother insulted her girlfriend but he's smiling like an idiot.
"My mom scolded her. How can she call it love? She? even said that my girlfriend is after my money and she doesn't love me. If she loves me, then how come she doesn't question me? How can she say we're adults and we can do anything we want without interfering in others' personal lives? you know the expression on her face is hilarious... Then she stomped out of my house without turning back cursing my mom." This time I laughed with him.
"Lemme tells you one more thing one day my mom insisted on going on a blind date with me but she sat behind me listening to all the conversation between us I didn't mind at all but when a waitress slipped coffee on her dress she cursed the poor waitress badly in a mean of seconds my mother poured spilled coffee on her deliberately. She addressed my mom as an old hag, and I fisted my palm in anger. My mom said, a girl who doesn't respect others will not be my daughter-in-law, and with that, she grabbed me out of the restaurant." he took a deep breath. I must admit his mother is the most considerate woman' about his son.
