A few minutes later, we reached the hotel, and everyone was busy collecting their bags. Saakshi noticed that Ric was also among the group preparing to leave. Her heart raced a little faster as she realized this might be her last chance to see him. She hesitated for a moment, then made a quick decision. Without thinking too much, she grabbed her backpack and discreetly followed him.
Saakshi had developed a crush on Ric ever since their first meeting. His kindness had left a lasting impression on her. As she quietly trailed behind him, she wondered if he would notice her presence. She tried to keep a safe distance, not wanting to appear too obvious, but also not wanting to lose sight of him.
Ric walked towards the hotel entrance, completely unaware that Saakshi was following him. She couldn't help but steal glances at him whenever she had the chance. Her mind raced with thoughts of what she would say if she ever got the courage to talk to him.
"Saakshi!" Aadhya's voice called out behind Saakshi, breaking through her thoughts and pulling her back to reality.
She turned around sharply, Aadhya's eyes narrowing at her. "Do you think I'm deaf? Why are you screaming?" She replied her tone a mix of irritation and confusion.
"Are you okay?" Dia's voice, filled with concern, cut in, her brow furrowing slightly as she observed Saakshi.
"Where are you going? We're here," Dia clarified gently, her words grounding Saakshi and reminding her of where she was.
Saakshi glanced back toward the group, her heart racing from the sudden realization that she had been so caught up in following him that she had forgotten to grab her bag. "You're leaving without taking your bag," Aadhya remarked, her tone teasing.
It was then that the weight of Saakshi's actions sank in, and she found herself scrambling for an explanation. "Um..." She began, trying to come up with a possible excuse.
"We know you're paranoid, so no worries," Aadhya scoffed playfully, Dia nodded in agreement.
"Yeah... Wait, what did you say about me?" Saakshi asked, her confusion evident in the furrow of her brows.
"We get it, no need to say anything," Dia replied casually, exchanging a knowing glance with Aadhya.
Saakshi's thoughts raced as she realized the potential implications of her actions. "Oh no! I'm in trouble if they find out about him. They'll tease me. God, please save me from them. I always used to advise them not to ogle at men, but now I've become the one doing it. They'll make fun of me," Saakshi thought to herself, feeling a mix of embarrassment and anxiety.
Saakshi looked at Aadhya and Dia, trying to gauge their expressions to see if they knew about him. Thankfully, their faces betrayed nothing, and she let out a silent sigh of relief.
"Am I missing something?" Aadhya said, breaking the silence once more.
"What do you mean?" Dia queried, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at Aadhya.
"Are you hiding something from us?" Aadhya asked Saakshi directly, her tone now more serious.
"Gotcha," Aadhya smirked knowingly, and Saakshi felt a jolt of surprise.
"Can you tell me what it is?" Saakshi asked, her confusion clear in her tone and expression.
"You're hiding something. Tell us about it," Aadhya crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Why would I do that?" She replied, trying to keep her voice calm and steady
"Unless you say so, we have our ways of knowing about it," Aadhya retorted, her smirk widening.
