Chapter 2

"You'll ready?"

Jett asked at his friends who were standing infront of the car bringing  bags with them looking dumbfounded  that they just found out  that Jett is capable of driving 'cause he always had a chauffeur whenever he brought a car inside the campus.

"And you wanted me to drive?"

Wilder asked Austin in yet another sarcastic tone with his left brow raising at him. Austin just laughed it off, and Kai as usual shook his head in disbelief and chuckled.

"I've already booked a place for us to stay there, so you don't have to worry"

"As expected of our Jett, nice job!"

Austin turned to the backseat and made a thumbs up to Jett, and as they agreed Wilder was the one driving, still pissed though...

Kai was relaxing on his back besides Jett, appreciating the scenery on their way to their destination, it was only full of towering trees, however it was the autumn season. The trees had wonderfully turned to red, orange and yellow in color, mixing and blending together.

After that, he was surprised that a lake appeared all of a sudden, and the forest cleared up, and the sky was seen, though it was overcast, so it was dull and sunless, and looked gloomy even from afar.

Just from looking at it, you can easily tell it was going to pour, though it might just be a mizzle.

"Ugh, aren't we there yet? I'm bored, even Kai and Jett's not talking anymore"

Austin complained while stretching his arms, Kai tried to look at Austin  but failed to do so as Austin was sitting at the front seat, he then turned to Jett to ask him how long will it take to reach their resting place, but he already conked out. Kai just sighed at how Jett can be so neglectfully reckless.

" Wilder, just stop at the nearest place"

"Sure"

"Kai, you should sleep too, look at Jett, he's so carefree, tsk"

After some time, Austin who wanted Kai to sleep, snored as he slept peacefully. Kai just kept looking at the lake, it was actually pretty wide.

As he focused his gaze on the lake, he saw a human-like figure standing infront of it. He thought that maybe he was imagining it because it's been so long since he could sleep, but it looked like a woman to him. He wasn't sure because the car was speeding, he couldn't find an opportunity to look back.

"Hey, wake up you useless idiot!"

Wilder shouted at Jett who was too comfortable sleeping on the back without a care in the world, they don't even know if they're in the right place since Jett slept all the way to the nearest place that Kai suggested a while ago. For Wilder, Jett is dumb, too dumb that Wilder's heart rate, blood pressure, adrenaline, and temperature levels rises all the time.

Austin was already awake and went inside the place they'll be staying for  the day, apparently it was a contemporary cabin, and it really looked like it belongs to the Roosevelt family.

Kai held their bags as he walked towards the cabin. He mumbled that it was bigger than his house. At the same time Jett woke up.

"Oh,we're here? Good job finding our cabin guys, Hahahahahahaha!"

"Shut it, you useless piece of sh*t, why do you have a place like this outside the capital of Mississippi?"

Wilder and Jett was on their way inside the cabin, Jett had a questionable look. He blinked twice as if looking innocent. Wilder and Kai already knew just from looking at the place that it wasn't a place that Jett 'booked' for them.

"Oh, I built this for this exact reason, since this is such a long way from town and there was no place for us to stay"

"I built this beforehand AHAHAHA HAHAHA, Aren't I smart? Are you surprised?"

Wilder was shocked that his eyes widened and his mouth opened in so much disbelief. Kai froze upon hearing Jett just laughing and was thinking how much all of this costs, along with all the furnitures.

They really thought before coming here, Jett just booked a place for them to stay even if it was just a shabby cabin. But then again, they are on the outskirt of Morton, not that many people live here since it's such a long way from town.

Austin who didn't heard anything already went inside, it was their first time going in a contemporary cabin. It has two floors, and their are four bedrooms enough for the four of them, there was also an outdoor pool, a kitchen, a fireplace, and everything else they needed, including food.

But it seemed like they were going to live there with all those things that you can see in a whole house, And Austin was really overjoyed and excited.

"Jett, this is nice! From what site did you find this place?"

"It's his"

Kai replied as he went inside the cabin and went straight to the second floor, still holding everyone's heavy bag. Austin was left dumbfounded, questioning his self , is he the only one who didn't know?

As Wilder and Jett went in, Wilder immediately put his hands around Austin's shoulders and went up the stairs.

"Let's pick our bedroom"

"Hey, you two! Sleep separately, I purposely made 4 rooms!"

Wilder didn't listen to Jett and just told him to f*ck off with only his hand as a message. Jett just sighed, some friends they are, and Wilder got a really bad manner, Austin should really train him.

The four of them are currently sitting in the kitchen, eating fried chickens that Kai cooked a few minutes ago.

"What time should we go tonight?"

"Oh come on Austin, you're going tonight?! We don't even know our ways in this place, we might even get lost"

"Why are you making such a fuss about it? Don't worry I'm sure nothing will happen"

Wilder complained at Austin, trying to persuade him not to go as it might be dangerous, but Austin just smiled at him, they might just be on the outskirt of their town but it'll take more than a week to try to find people who gets lost here, additionally,  the police's rescue search or even their radar  might not even reach here.

"Wilder, I already came here before, I already know where the abandoned church is"

Jett affirmed them, he then put a bag at the table and picked up everything inside of it.

"Just leave it to me!"
