(Jungkook's POV)
.
"It still amazes me that you managed to knock someone up after just one night of sex, and not even a full night. Damn, you have some powerful-"
"Jimin, I didn't ask you to meet me to talk about how potent my sperm are, I asked you here to keep me from doing anything too fucking stupid." I retorted."You gotta admit...."
"I know... I know. Makes me thankful that was the first night I was a moron and didn't wrap it." I commented just to get him to shut up."Okay, so why the meeting? What's going on that you're not telling me? You're clearly on edge over something." Jimin asked, I didn't know how to say it but I needed someone to help. I was on the verge of slipping into some bad habits and if anyone was going to keep me from doing slipping... it was Jimin.
"Ellie's in the hospital." I started with the only thing I was thinking about.
"What? Kook, why aren't you there then? Is she okay? What happened?" He asked frantically. Typical Jimin, showing concern and genuine worry for others.
"She's okay, the baby is fine too.. But someone clocked her over the head when she was leaving work." I told him."Okay... when did this happen?" Jimin asked, trying to keep himself calm.
"Last night. She had to have stitches, she was knocked out most of the day... so here I am, meeting with you at the bar." I explained. Jimin just nodded."Come on, let's take your car. I need to go check the parking lot at her work for anything that might tell me who these fuckers are... or where they are." I added.
"Okay. Let's go." Jimin didn't fight me on this part... and I was glad. If I find these fuckers though... I'll need him to prevent me from killing them. I was about to get into Jimin's car when I was suddenly grabbed by the collar of my shirt and yanked back. I was just about to swing on the motherfucker who dared but I found myself face to face with Taehyung.
"You're NOT doing this." He nearly shouted at me.
"It's none of your business." I said through gritted teeth as I smacked his hands from my shirt. He took a step closer, we were practically nose to nose, though he was a little taller than me.
"Oh it is. My friend, is in a panic because the father of her child just lied to her and took off to do what? What exactly was your plan?" Tae asked."It's none of your concern, Tae." I said again. The reason I asked Jimin and not Tae was because of this here. Tae's moral compass was always pointing to good. Jimin's moral compass was based off emotion mostly, but he knew when things were going too far. Jimin understood me emotionally more than Tae. It's not Tae's fault, he is who he is and I love him for the friend he's been to me. But in this situation... I trust him and Jin most to look after Ellie.
"It is, That's my friend in the hospital Jungkook, my friend who is worried now. You're also my friend, and as your friend, it is my job to make sure you don't do stupid shit. What do you plan on doing? You don't know who these people are, you don't know anything." Tae was reminding me once more that I was just taking a shot in the dark and hoping I'd find something to go on.
"Alright you two. Knock it the fuck off. Both of you get in the car." Jimin approached us and pulled Tae back from me.
"I swear, anymore of this bullshit and I'll put both of you in the ground." Jimin said as he walked back to the drivers side of his car. Tae got in the back seat and I sat up front with Jimin.
"Where does she work?" Jimin asked, looking on his phone for an address. I took his phone and input the address and he set it into the holder on his dash. The GPS on his phone helped guide him to where she works."You know I work there too, you could have just asked me." Tae said from the back seat.
"Yeah, but you are against this, so you would have most likely lied." Jimin replied to him, pulling out of the parking lot of the bar. I smirked, Jimin was right. Tae would have lied. He'd lie in a heartbeat if he thought he was protecting people he cares for.
"I don't even know what you two are up too. Going to the shop? Why?" Tae asked.
