HOKIEN MEDIA GROUP HR OFFICE LOBBY - AFTERNOON
The room's occupants are bewitched by the elven girl's sudden appearance.

REMY: "I am not of this world, as you may all gather. I hail from the Middle Realms; the sleepy shire of 'Farronwood.'"

Samara hears Kanzaki demanding her attention on the phone.

SAMARA: "Shut up for a moment Kanzaki, hold on."

Samara lowers her phone. Mention of The Middle Realms has piqued her curiosity.

REMY: "I have journeyed here in pursuit of work and to make a home in this Human Land. I have much skill to offer an employer."

Some Applicants have whipped out their own mobile devices to keep their own record of this bizarre episode.

REMY: "I have the most experience as a 'Hostler,' having served as an Innkeeper's second for several years..."

Remy pulls a large tome from her cape—her copy of Houses & Humans: 4th Edition. She displays it with pride.

REMY: "I have also had quite a bit of success as a DM for tabletop role-playing games, and I am well-known amongst my guests!"

Remy tucks her guide back into whatever pocket dimension she pulled it from.

REMY: "I am not picky about my roles. I seek any form of apprenticeship! Whether it be on your legal time or in sales, because..."

The elf girl begins to swell with spirit.

REMY: "...for I dream the same dream as my fellow Human!"

Remy strikes a dramatic pose.

REMY: "A house of my own in the suburbs! With three bedrooms and two baths! A loving wife, and a statistical average of 2.5 children!"

Remy's hair billows from the very force of her enthusiasm alone.

REMY: "...such is the aim of my quest!"

The elf girl walks towards the Recruiter. She hands him a scrap of parchment.

REMY: "I have written a list of my skills on this piece of parchment. Please read as much as you like, but keep it not, for it is my only copy."

The Recruiter glances at the rolled-up document that Remy has placed in his hand. He unfurls it, skimming the cursive that was carefully etched on the piece of vellum. The room is silent.

KANZAKI (on the phone): "Sam, are you still there...?"

The Recruiter begins to giggle. Then he chuckles.

He lets out a fit of riotous laughter. The room uncorks and everyone begins to cackle loudly. Everyone except Samara.

Remy begins to melt from embarrassment. She turns beet red.

REMY: "....what ...what is so funny?!"

Clap.
Clap, clap, clap!

One by one, the applause ripples in. Remy giggles nervously.
She doesn't quite understand their response but considers this a win. The elf girl curtsies. Samara remains dumbstruck.

KANZAKI (on the phone): "Well, if we're done here, I am going to hop onto my train...."

Samara brings her phone back to her ear.

SAMARA: "Sorry 'zaki. A cosplayer just walked in and completely destroyed my chances of having a career."
