"What an interesting first date."
"Chris-- Rio."
He could smirk at Adriana's heated glare, amused at the hiss in her voice, as she glanced over at Beth who was busy ordering coffee for the three of them.
"Y'know, I'm not into the whole threesome thing but--"
"Don't you finish that sentence."
Adriana shook her head, her voice growing serious as she dared him to finish his sentence, he only chuckled leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table, his head leaning against his propped hand. He gazed at Adriana, a mix of lust and interest in his eyes as he watched her eyes nervously dart between him and Beth who was only a few feet away.
"Don't mention--don't even joke, about anything going on between us."
"And what's going on between us, mama."
Adriana crossed her arms against her chest, leaning back in her seat, about to retort before Beth interrupted their conversation as she set down the coffee on the table.
Rio tore his gaze away from Adriana, watching curiously as Beth sat in front of him, as business-savvy smile gracing her lips.
"So, shall we get started?"

"I want you to think of this as an opportunity to grow during the downtime, a chance to really flip your game in a way that-- if it's not completely legal, it is totally FDA-approved."
"Mmm-hmm"
Rio gazed at Beth, amused at her 'business pitch' his eyes darting between the two women, one completely silent and the other talking too much.
"This is essentially liquid money. I mean, it's literally liquid but--"
Rio shook the little vial in his hand, his tongue darting out to wet his lips in the way Adriana oh-so loved, before shutting down Beth's words with the words only one of the women expected but neither wanted to hear.
"It's garbage. This stuff's poison." Adriana, however was prepared, at least, even if she didn't totally believe in the plan.
"More poisonous than what you deal?"
Rio turned his gaze to Adriana, his smirk now long gone and his brows twisted in confusion at the two women.
"Who would I even sell it to?"
"Don't you know someone?" Beth chimed.
"That rolls with a bunch of middle-age ladies? Nah, man, not so much"
"Ouch." Adriana muttered, her hand flying up to clutch her chest finding a bit of offense to his words. He sent her a pointed glare, tapping his finger against the lid of the bottle.
