"You know what muscle memory is, right?"

He questioned, twirling a strand of her hair between his fingers. He trailed his finger across her jaw, his fingers ghosting over her lips. "Of course, you would. You're teacher, right?" Adriana nodded, casting him a sideways glance. "Yes."

"You went to college, right? What'd you major in?" He questioned once again. Adriana rolled her eyes, crossing her arms across her chest. He stared at her expectantly, leaning back in his seat. She sucked her teeth, notcing how the quaint slowly transformed turned into the city. "Pre-med. At first." She concluded, watching as the buildings got taller and more modern.

"What do you mean 'at first'?" Rio inquired, catching the driver's eye and nodding once. Adriana let out a heavy sigh, turning to face him. "What's with the Q and A?"

He chuckled, leaning his hand back. "I just want to know more about you." She nodded, her attention now on tall building that seemed to be their destination. "What now?" She observed the multiple cars littering the parking lot and the curb by the building.

"Just stand there and look pretty for me, mamas." He joked, waiting for the driver to come around and open the door for the two. The click of the door, snapped Adriana from her thoughts. Rio exited the car before turning and holding his hand out to her. "Come on, wifey."

Rio placed his hand on the small of her back, guiding her towards the entrance of the contemporary structure. Once they entered they were met with dozens of unfamiliar faces occupying the entryway.

Adriana got a good idea of who they were, or more likely what they did. Most of them had similar tattoos, most likely linked to some sort of shady organizations. At least that's what she believed. Rio's breath fanned across her cheek as he leaned down to whisper in her ear.

"Maintain eye contact to anyone you meet, never be the first to look away. That's number 1." Adriana nodded once, finding herself drifting toward his touch. "Dont go to far, if you find yourself needing to go the ladies room just let me know."

"Try not to tell people too much about yourself, like where you work."

The ding of the elevator caught everyone's attention, stilling the room. Rio drew away from Adriana, smirking almost menacingly at the elevators as they slowly began to part.

"Get ready to act like your life depends on it. Because it does."
