"In front!" Teruhashi dives for the ball but she's considerably late so it ricochets off of her hand wildly to the side, you spring into action immediately, running to the right and jumping over the divider to pop it back toward your court. You land safely and look back to see Takara launch it back over the net. However, you don't have time to celebrate because the other team is counter-attacking.

You sprint back to your spot, barely making it in time for when they hit out of the middle, luckily they hit it at Teruhashi who digs it easily.

"Nice up Kito," You yell to her as you all move in to cover the left side, Mira tools it off the block and you guys get the point.

"Thanks for covering my ass y/n," Teruhashi says, relieved. You smile, "I got you girl. Now two more points and you can watch your bae."

She grins and walks off the court as it's the middle's turn to serve, "Serve it up, Ema!"

She does a simple float serve which the other team picks up easily. Their counterattack comes quickly with a swift set to their outside, who hits it right at Ema.

"Nice receive!" You yell while transitioning for a hit out of pipe, "Who said middle's can't pass?!" Teruhashi shouts from the sidelines, making you all laugh mid play.

"Y/N!" Sasaki sets you and you run in, jumping right before the ten-foot line and smacking it toward the other team's court. It hits off the middle blockers' hands and the team gets a free ball from it, "Geez." You admire their defense but keep a watchful eye on their setter in case she dumps.

The opposite hitter is set this time, and Mira jumps up and shuts her out. You all run to her, cheering, "Do you think the blonde guy from Karasuno saw that?" She asks you after the excitement dies down. She peeks around your body to see the court where Karasuno just finished their first match.

"I think he missed it. That means you have to do it again," She punches you in the arm, a grin on her face, "Shut up."

Ema serves the next ball out of bounds and Kitomi comes back in, "Let's finish it here." She states, standing in her serve receive position, "Yes ma'am."

"Do you want to grab a t-shirt before we run to the other arena?" Teruhashi shakes her head, practically bouncing up and down, "Do you have your crocs? You're still wearing your volleyball shoes." She curses, "Fuck, wait here." She sprints off, almost knocking a lady down.

She really loves him

You sweatdrop, walking up to the t-shirts. You make your way down the options, not seeing one you love.

Next to you, the orange-haired boy from Karasuno chooses a 'Way of the Ace shirt.' You chuckle at his spirit, and he turns toward you.

"Hello," You greet, he nods to you, eyes wide before blurting, "Is it true you're top three in Beach volleyball in Canada?"

You laugh at his abruptness, "Yeah sorta, obviously not anymore but I was."

"That's so cool!" He exclaims, hugging the t-shirt to his chest. "Hinata you're a dumbass." Tobio comes in behind you, looking through the t-shirts. "Hey Tobio-chan, how'd the first match go?" You ask the setter, both of you now ignoring the short boy who started talking to his green haired friend.

"It was good. We won in 2 but it took a little while to sync up because some idiot lost his bag." Hinata blushes, "It was not my fault! Some kid stole it." He grumbles, his arms crossed.

"So you didn't have your stuff? That's scary." You marvel and Tobio adds, "Yeah his phone was in there too."

"Okay, enough Kageyama!" Hinata shouts, you change the topic for his sake, "Have you seen anyone you know yet?"
