You sit down at lunch with your friends, pushing around your food as you talk.
"It feels weird knowing we don't have practice after school," Kitomi says suddenly, the table murmurs in agreement, a slightly sad vibe settling over everyone.
"Guys—It's okay, we did amazing." You start, trying to bring everyone up. Kitomi snorts, "The coach is right guys, if we wanna win, it's on us."
"I fucking hate you," You groan, throwing your napkin at her.
The team laughs, and the two of you had successfully managed to lift the mood, at your expense of course.
"I heard that once graduation hits, that following week we'll be combining with the boys until mid summer when the seniors leave." Mira announces as she walks over, slamming her lunch tray down.
The girls murmur in slight excitement, Mira plants her hands on her hips.
She points at Teruhashi, "The retired seniors are welcome too, I can't wait to see Yuda and you interact."
The blonde snorts, rolling her eyes, "Fuck off, it was two dates."
"Two dates too many," Ema comments and you laugh, "Is Yuda the freckly one?"
Teruhashi nods at your question, "He doesn't seem like your type." You put your fork down, pushing your tray to the side as you speak.
"Trust me, he's not." She mutters, not looking up as she types away at her device.

"Lemme walk you home baby girl," Kitomi locks her arm with yours, putting up her umbrella.
You chuckle, "Thanks. I did not want to ask Tooru for a ride."
Teruhashi nods, "Yeah I figured...." She trails off, looking to the side.
"So...how's Kageyama doing?" You narrow your eyes at her, "He's fine, what's on your mind?"
You cut right to the chase, whenever the girl has something plaguing her thoughts she always asks you about Tobio.
She groans, tilting the umbrella toward you more so your right side doesn't get soaked.
"Okay, fine. So you're trying to tell me you're not the least bit jealous of Oikawa and what's her face?"
"Azami." You fill in, the name rolling off your tongue. It really is a beautiful name.
"See, that name stuck with you, that must mean something." She subtly hints, looking at you expectantly.
"Well I met her this morning, I would hope I didn't forget her name." You start, "And I'm happy they're happy. I just don't want him to be so..."
"Rude? Standoffish? Cold? Mea—"
"Yes! Yes...All of those." You state in annoyance, Teruhashi senses you're not ready to accept anything yet and backs off.
"How was Bio?" You shrug, "Today was fine, I'm more worried about the next couple days. Making these labs up with Iwaizumi, Tooru, and that girl in a separate lab room is going to be miserable." You predict, cringing already at the tense and awkward atmosphere.
"Is Iwaizumi still normal?" You nod at her question, "Yeah. I'm hoping Tooru just doesn't want to make his girlfriend uncomfortable by being too close with me, I mean we live together. I just wish he'd talk to me about it, yknow?"
