"Bye, I'll see you soon." You hug Emma, who was thrilled that you were going on a trip to Tokyo to explore, since she grew up there.

"Bye love. Be safe." You nod, backing up and glancing at Tooru.

"Bye." You grumble at him, clearly annoyed. He sighs, taking a step forward and pushing your head into his chest.

"Bye. Have fun." You poke under his rib, making him recoil back. "I will."

You shoot one last smile at Emma and an annoyed glance at the setter as you board the train with Teruhashi.

"That seemed tense." She comments once you're settled in. You huff out an annoyed breath, "Whatever. If he wants to be weird and distant then he can do that all he wants."

"Was he like this before or after you told him you're staying with Akaashi?"

"Before!" You cry, throwing your hands in the air. "I don't know why he's being like this."

"At least he's not being mean..?" She proposes, smiling sheepishly.

"Oh yes, bare minimum thank you." You huff out.

"Well let's get him out of your head, we are going to have a lot of fun these next two weeks. Okay?" You exhale, resting your head against the seat and shutting your eyes.

"Yes. You're right."

It WILL be fun.

"Let's go back to mine first! My mom made us some snacks!" Bokuto exclaims excitedly, still holding Teruhashi on his hip. You and Akaashi exchange humorous looks but ultimately agree with the boy.

"How was the ride?" Akaashi asks as you both climb into the back seat of Bokuto's car, the couple sliding into the front.

"It was fine, everytime I ride the bullet train—which is only twice—i feel like it gets faster everytime." He chuckles, buckling his seatbelt.

"Could be. What was the other time you were here? Didn't you take a bus to nationals?" You nod, "Yes but I rode the train for the youth camp."

His mouth forms an o, "Oh right. Is that where you met Kageyama?" You hold up your hand and shake it back and forth, "Sorta...I actually met him because he was spying on our boy's team and I caught him."

"Wow." Akaashi says dryly and you laugh, "Yep. He was peeking in the window and I happened to go outside and recognize him from a video Tooru showed me and then Tobio and I became friends in Tokyo."

"I see. He's a good kid."

You smile thoughtfully, "He is. He's just intense."

"Serious." Akaashi says. You quirk your brow at him, "You're one to talk."

"I'm not serious like he is." He defends, "First of all, I have a sense of humor." You snort as he continues, "And I have other things, he's like volleyball, volleyball, volleyball constantly. I actually kinda wish I had that drive for something."

You nod, Tobio does have a one track mind. But that's what makes him so endearing.

"Yeah he is very dedicated...I just wish he'd spare a little more time for studying." Akaashi chuckles, "Don't you help him with his academic stuff though?"

"Yeah, usually english but sometimes math."

Akaashi nods, "How is my english? I have been complimented on my accent before."

You giggle, "It's very good, better than Tooru's and most definitely better than Tobio's." He smirks, a little deviously.

"Butt." You laugh at his sudden statement, the accent making it better.
