Chapter 20: The beating of my drums

Konan headed back inside the uchiha compound using a underground network he learnt about, getting back inside the village as Konan entered his room through a hole in his closet- already waiting there was Ino and Naruto who seemed awkward around eachother but both jumped with excitement as they saw him sneak back in;

Both; " I knew you were telling the truth! "

They looked at eachother and laughed, both being similar in many ways apparently-  maybe Konan attracted Blondes but either way Konan trusted them and sat them down, explaining all of Tsunade's plan to them as they nodded along- Konan could tell Naruto understood none of it and was just happy he was back. Ino nodded and asked questions along the way until Konan realised the sun was starting to go down, he quickly informed them that he had a job to do and they stood at the side of his room to let him get ready.

Konan; " Guys... I need to change "

Both; " I wanna watch.. "

Both; " Wait why do you wanna watch?! "

Konan; " Why do you both wanna watch?! "

Naruto; " I wanna see how muscular you are "

Ino; " Same but I wanna see it all "

Konan; " Fine I'll take my shirt off but after that you're leaving and waiting in the living room! "

They waited excitedly, Konan took his shirt off as they started admiring and poking, he quickly yelled at them and kicked them out into the living room as he changed- the two looking at eachother as they sat on the couch and waited;

Both; " SO! UH! do you like Konan?! "

Both; " Huh? Why are you asking?! "

Both; " Stop copying me! "

Naruto; " No.. UH! I like Sakura yeah! I don't like guys at all, nope not me! "

Ino; " I'm already basically dating him but it's ok to like guys Naruto, I might share him with you "

Naruto; " You would! I mean no umm, I like girls "

Ino laughed, maybe blondes were attracted to Konan naturally, she then realised Tsunade was a blonde and hoped Konan wouldn't add a milf to his fan club, sweating as he came out into the living room wearing his disguise and told them he'd be back later. He soon left after that and Ino was with Naruto alone;

Naruto; " So umm, what if I did like him? How would I know? "

Ino; " Well umm, I felt safe around him, he made my heart feel weak and I couldn't stop thinking about him? "

Naruto; " Umm well I do think about him a lot, I do feel safe around him but he doesn't make my heart weak... Do I not like him afterall? "

Ino; " Who knows? "

They spoke for a couple hours as Konan was out. He came home pretty late into the night and saw them both sleeping on the couch- he fetched blankets and pillows and made sure they had proper sleeping neccessities before heading to bed himself and drifting off- late during the night his body suddenly got heavy, then again it got even heavier an hour or so later but he decided to stay asleep until the morning sun cracked through the window.

As the early morning rays broke through the cracks in the blinds, Konan awoke- his body trained to spring into action at the crack of light but this time he couldn't move, looking at both his arms as they were pinned by the two sleeping blondes who climbed into bed to join him, he suspected Ino went first and Naruto joined later. He laughed slightly and waited until the two sleeping yellow haired idiots awoke soon after and rubbed their eyes awake.

Konan; " Morning sleepy heads? you both sleep well? "

Both; " Yeah "

They both leaned in and kissed his cheek, Ino sure but Konan was shocked as Naruto did it, the blonde jumped back realising what he did and ran from the house quickly, Konan and Ino stared at eachother shocked and slightly confused as Naruto left in a hurry, this would be awkward- is all Konan could think as he got up and prepared to leave again...

((sorry for the short chapter, Had no clue what to write as we're getting into filler territory and the beginning of Shippuden- ready for a big timeskip soon everyone?!))
