The Prisoner of the Leaf

Chapter 1: The Fourth member

There was a group of Ninjas in the village of leaves, at the end of every academy year there would be a group of students to graduate as Genin and find their new senseis who would be both their mentors and protectors until they reached the level of Jonin themselves, one particalur group would be our main focus; Group 7. Group 7 were a mismatch band of misfits, Naruto of the Uzumaki clan and the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tailed Fox spirit; he was a troublemaker and probably the least intelligent student out of his year after having failed the exam 3 times until recently, Next was Sakura Haruno; A bright girl from a non-clan family, she wasn't as strong in terms of Ninjutsu as the others but her intelligence and chakra control were amazing- her only downsides were her extreme arrogance and ego aswell as a creepy obsession with a certain boy who she had fallen out with her best friend over, the final student member was Sasuke Uchiha; he was presumed to be the last Uchiha left in the village, he was both smart and strong with exceptional knowledge of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu despite his cold and egotistical demeanor. These three students probably had the worst chemistry out of any team the leaf had formed and to top it all of, there teacher was a definite powerhouse but had uncouth training methods and a lack luster atttiude; Kakashi Hatake, Or kakashi of the sharingan, was a High Jonin sensei aswell as a former Anbu Black ops member, son of the white flash and an extraoridinary ninja.

Team 7 had just finished Kakashi's test known as the Bell test, they had uncovered the secret meaning behind the test and had been allowed to pass as Kakashi Hakate's first actual genin squad; after the test had concluded the now formed team 7 were told to go get something to eat, rest and meet Kakashi at the Hokage's mansion first thing in the morning- the shock on their faces when they realise it would be another 6:00 am wake up was astounding but as was the life of a ninja, you couldn't afford to sleep in especially if you wanted to rank up and get stronger. As 6:00am the next day rolled around, two of the three team 7 students were wide awake and unfortunately waiting outside a shabby apartment for the last member who was currently sleeping in:

Sakura; " Damn it, that idiot Naruto is gonna make Kakashi sensai mad at us! "

The pink haired girl yelled in frustration, the Black haired boy next to her only sighing in response before they heard the panicked rustling from above and saw their last member leap from his balcony towards them, landing steady in front of them and trying to use his signature smile as an escape method but he couldn't avoid the angry fist of the Pink haired girl who scolded him harshly for making them late. Team 7 had finally arrived at the hokage building only 20 minutes late, suprised to see Kakashi there before them waiting but assuming it was important since he was there on time; team 7 gulped in fear before heading to the hokage's office, there were more anbu members then ever, each one on guard and armed as they formed a line to the office door where they could already hear the Hokage talking- Kakashi knocked and they were allowed to enter; in the office was two more anbu members stood next to the hokage's desk with a person inbetween them, locked up like an animal but only slightly struggling- the Hokage was sat at his desk and looking at the Genin team with an almost worried glare before standing to speak;

Hiruzen; " Unfortunately this isn't your first assignment, due to a new law being passed there was an exception made and a certain somebody was allowed to be freed from our highest security prison. This person isn't dangerous but will need training and a level of care to be around, he has not got full control of his abilities and as such will be wearing a security locked blindfold that can only be released by one of you or Kakashi ", Hiruzen said placing a great deal of trust in the genin before motioning the anbu guards forward towards them as they almost had to drag the chained prisoner forwards, " Introduce yourself first and you'll be able to meet your team afterwards "

Konan; he snarled a bit at the idea, in the prison; introducing yourself first meant that you accepted yourself as weaker but he agreed since Grandpa Hiruzen was the one asking, " My name is Konan Kurama, I am 12 years old and a Genin as of recently "

He spoke in a well mannered tone with a slight ounce of ego, Kakashi hadn't been given the full details but he immediately knew who the boy before them was by hearing the name of his clan and began to look at the Hokage as if he was insane placing him on their team, the Hokage only responded with a nod as each member introduced themselves one after the other to the boy;

Kakashi; " My name is Kakashi Hakate, I will be your teacher "

Sakura; " Sakura Haruno, I'm also 12 and I will be one of your teammates"

Naruto; " I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm the strongest on the team and the next hokage, Believe it! "

Sasuke; " Sasuke uchiha.."

They saw him smile at all their introductions until Sasuke said his clan name, they heard the chains rattle and the boy seemed to have broken out of the Anbu's grip and although still restrained was stood in front of Sasuke, slightly taller and a lot more threatening but he simply glared with a frown on his face before walking back to Hiruzen and shuffling his body in a way to ask for his straight jacket to be removed; Hiruzen agreed but made the boy promise him not to hurt anyone especially Sasuke and the boy agreed which recieved him a pat on the head from the old man Hokage, the boy smiled and turned to them as the straight jacket was removed, he had been dressed formally almost but looked more militant in style; a coat and tie were odd attire for ninja but he assured them he would be fine moving in it since he had learned to not be restricted by a straight jacket.

After the introductions, Kakashi walked the new team 7 down the street and back to the forest where they had just taken the bell test the day before, the team groaned thinking they would have to do it again but he assured them that the test would only be for the newest member and they were purely to watch; once they reached the training field, Kakashi explained the test: Konan would be given 10 minutes to get a bell off of Kakashi to pass, he could alternatively shorten the time by calling in his team which would lessen it to 5 minutes. Konan nodded after hearing the rules and began to stretch, he wasn't much of a team player but went towards the others and didn't ask them to fight with him but agreed to the 5 minute time limit if one of them released the blindfold; Naruto stupidly agreed almost instantly after wanting to see what was under it but as the metal fell they could only see the boy having both eyes closed and turning away from them towards his teacher, it was as if the boy refused to let anyone but the one he was fighting see what his eyes were hiding and he began to prepare for a fight...
