All the Alpha could look at was the red flower that now laid on the floor where his mate had stood. His scent was still sour with rage and turmoil. Mainly at himself for not doing more. How could he have let the Omega Prince be taken? He was his mate, he was supposed to protect him.

People busied around him in sheer panic, questions being thrown in every direction.

"IZUKU! Where is he? Who saw him last? You!" A green whirlwind of hair stormed its way towards the blonde Alpha. Queen Midoria looked enraged and Katsuki did blame her. Her sour pheromones were suffocating him.

"Inko, dear. Please, you need to breathe and let the young Prince breathe also. I'm sure that he can explain what happened to our son," the King stood proudly, his chest puffed out like a peacock's plume of feathers. He knew that he needed to support his mate, but she was so distraught that he had to take charge here.

"No, she is right. I wasn't quick enough. I wasn't strong enough," Katsuki spoke quietly, yet he knew that they had heard him. He looked up and met the shimmering emerald eyes of the Queen. They were the same beautiful shade of green, yet he couldn't help but notice that there wasn't the depth to them that he had seen in the Prince's.

"Guards!" The Queen bellowed, "take him away. Make sure that he does not leave his room."

The Alpha Prince simply nodded, all fight had disappeared when his mate had. He had failed as a Prince and as an Alpha, he did not deserve to be treated with the respect of one. He let the two knights lead him away.

The only thought occupying his mind was his Omega mate's beautiful face. What was happening to him? Would he ever see him again?

"That wasn't very Alpha of you, Prince Bakugo. Letting those Alphas kidnap the Prince, I don't know how you can look at yourself."

Katsuki halted his steps and looked to his left. There was that last person he wanted to see, Prince Todoroki. He clicked his tongue before replying, "It had nothing to do with you so don't get fucking involved." The fire was somewhat back in the blonde Alpha's heart. Who was this Alpha to criticize him? He needed to get his head back on straight and help rescue his Omega. Why was he acting like this? No, he was a strong and formidable Alpha.

"I'm only saying that if I had been with the Omega Prince, I would not have them take him," there was a smile on Prince Todoroki's face, however, Katsuki couldn't help feeling a little unnerved by it. "I'm not sure how you let them get away. I know that you are not as strong as myself, but I would have at least been able to take down the female Alpha."

The blonde Alpha tutted, his attention moving away from the arrogant Alpha standing next to him. He had been so shocked by their appearance and how they had acted...wait...he had only told the King and Queen that there were three Alphas. He hadn't given any descriptions of them yet. How did Prince Todoroki know that detail?

Katsuki's eyes widened as he started intently as the other Alpha Prince, "How did you know-"

Prince Todoroki's smug expression transformed quickly into one of shock and then anger, "I think I can hear my Father calling me. Good day, Prince Bakugo."

With that, he was off, taking long strides away from the blonde Prince.

As he was escorted back to the Palace, Katsuki couldn't help but dwell on the interaction he had just had. Something felt off, he needed time to think and process the other Alpha's words and behaviour.

He had been back in his room for no more than five minutes before his Mother was banging on the door.

"Katsuki Bakugo! Open this door, now!"
