Katsuki couldn't find the Omega Prince anywhere. Everyone had made their way back to the Palace and he was on the hunt, yet again, for the green haired beauty. His green haired beauty. The Alpha had a suspicion that the Prince had locked himself in his Library, he had checked everywhere else. The Palace guards were no use to him. Yet, their loyalty to the Omega Prince had to be admired.

Surely they wouldn't guard an empty room though.

Katsuki was now sitting on the floor, his back resting against the wall next to the Library doors. He would wait here all day if he had to. He would be speaking to the Omega as soon as possible.

He had fumbled over his words when the Queen had told him that he had been chosen. He still couldn't really believe it. He needed to hear it from Prince Midoria himself. He was thrilled beyond belief, but he needed to talk to his future mate.

He twiddled a piece of parchment in his hands. The only thing keeping his mind from going crazy with worry right now. When they had all returned to the Palace, a letter had been waiting for him from his parents. It summed up mostly what Queen Midoria had told him, but there were a few extra details included just for his attention. They had sent their blessings for the third and final trial, his mother writing that she knew he would win the Prince's hand. He would have to admit that she was right. He'd never be allowed to forget that. But with something like this, he was willing to let her win this one.

Then there was the matter of the attacks on the border of their kingdom. Upon their arrival, his parents had discovered that there were issues in the neighbouring Onyx Kingdom. It was a troubled Kingdom that often kept to itself. He had never met the King, and his parents rarely spoke of the royal family there. They had little to do with one another even though they shared a border. Now Katsuki thought about it, there hadn't been an Alpha here at the Jade Palace to compete for Prince Midoria.

Katsuki hadn't sent a response back to his parents yet. He knew that he would need to update them soon. It wouldn't do for them to hear about his upcoming nuptials from anyone but him. Once he had spoken to the reclusive Prince, he would write his letter of reply.

Time seemed to slow to a snail's pace as he waited. And waited. Thankfully, his guards were on hand to keep him fed and hydrated at regular intervals. They had tried to make conversation with their Alpha Prince, but Katsuki had ignored them. He was waiting to speak with the Omega and no one else mattered.

The sun had set almost an hour ago, yet he was still waiting. Was the Omega hiding from him? Katsuki wasn't insecure, yet he couldn't help but wonder why the Prince was being such a recluse.

Nothing had been announced to the rest of the Palace about the Omega's decision, something that Katsuki had requested. The Queen had been happy to oblige, clearly wanting to give the two some time to talk. She had said that it would be announced at breakfast the following morning.

Katsuki had debated about knocking on the Library door several times. He wanted to give the Omega space, but his patience was beginning to grow short. Standing, he faced the wooden door. He raised his fist to knock, he had to do it. He'd been waiting long enough. The door swung open though, revealing the green haired Omega. He looked tired, what had he been doing in there?

The two stared at one another, both waiting for the other to speak. Yet, all that came out of Prince Midoria was a little squeak.

Katsuki couldn't help but smile as he looked down into those mesmerising green eyes.

"It's about time you showed yourself. I've been waiting out here for hours," he tried to keep his voice calm, but the worry burning inside of him had to come out somehow.
