*slight smut*
Prince Katsuki had come up with a plan. He had spent the rest of the day in his room pacing, and trying to process the news that his Mother had given him. He had gone over and over the thought that the Omega was his fated mate. He was never a believer of love and romance, yet he knew that he had to work some charm on the Omega, or he might lose his fated mate.
Now his plan was quite simple. Katsuki wasn't a romantic Alpha, and so he had spent hours thinking about what to do. He thought that this was a good first step and he hoped the Omega Prince would be able to see his charm.
The Alpha's first task was to get the Omega to agree to spend some time with him. Katsuki knew that that in itself would be a trial. He had waited outside of the Omega Prince's Library all day, hoping to catch him alone so that he could talk to him. However, the Alpha had been unsuccessful.
It was getting late, and Katsuki was considering going to speak with King Yagi, when he heard footsteps approaching. He glanced up from his seat, it was in fact the very Alpha he wanted to see.
"Young Prince Bakugo, what are you doing here?" Yagi strode towards him, the young Alpha standing and bowing to his elder.
"Your Highness, I am waiting for Prince Midoria. I was hoping to speak with him."
"I hope in a more polite manner than before," the King said, looking down at the now blushing Prince.
"Of course, Your Highness. Last time was a simple mistake, I should not have let my emotions get the better of me." Katsuki wasn't sure where this was coming from. This might have been the first time that he's admitted to making a mistake, and he hoped the last. Nervously, he continued, "I was hoping to speak with the Prince alone. I would like to take a walk with him, I have been told that the Palace Gardens are beautiful and would love to see them."
To say that King Yagi was surprised would be an understatement. That was not what he had expected to hear from the outgoing Alpha Prince. Yet, he couldn't help but smile. He had spoken with his wife regarding the blonde Prince, expressing his fondness for him and how he thought that he would be a good match for his son.
"I see Prince Bakugo, I believe that the Prince is currently in his chambers. He has been somewhat reluctant to leave since the altercation that took place between the two of you." he said with a stern look on the older Alpha's face.
In response Katsuki glanced at his feet. He knew that he shouldn't have acted so rashly towards the Omega, he had just felt too confused and overwhelmed. He was well aware that he often struggled to control his emotions. Something that he now needed to change if he was going to stand a chance of winning over his Omega. His Omega, that thought sounded nice in his head.
Kind Yagi continued, " if you are serious about courting my son, you need to think about your behaviour. I know that you will be facing tough competition, particularly from a certain two-toned Alpha." Katsuki growled at the mere mention of the other Prince. "Yes, I can see how competitive the two of you are. You need to focus that energy in the right direction. All Izuku has seen so far is a hot headed Alpha who is brash and goes looking for a fight. If you are as interested as I suspect, then control yourself. I shouldn't be telling you this," he shook his head and continued talking, "the Queen spoke to Prince Izuku yesterday. It seems that he is somewhat interested in Prince Todoroki..."
"What!" The Prince couldn't believe what he had just heard. How could anyone be interested in that stupid extra. His breathing became heavier and this scent was leaking out of his glands.
The King took a step back, giving the smaller Alpha space.
Katsuki noticed the behaviour, shaking his head he took a deep breath and apologised. "I'm sorry, I was just shocked."
