"Prince," the feminine voice was soft inside the Omega Prince's head. He looked around frantically, where was that voice coming from? Could the Alpha Prince hear it too?

"Kat-" Izuku began.

"-wait Izuku, something strange is happening inside my head," the Alpha was still staring at the large red dragon, their eyes locked intensely.

"In your head? I think whatever is happening, is also happening in my head," the Omega muttered, looking back at the two dragons. His whole body was drawn to the smaller of the two. The golden dragon.

"Yes, this is happening inside your head, Prince Izuku. Look at me." But Izuku didn't know where to look, who was speaking to him? No one new had arrived...The Omega then locked eyes with the smaller of the two dragons, who's piercing blue eyes seemed to look straight into his soul. "Yes, it is I that is speaking. Just as your mate is speaking with Aka. There is no need to worry, we have been waiting for you. For both of you. Your Alpha will fully explain, little one. You are safe now."

Izuku didn't know where to put himself. More and more questions were blossoming inside his head. This dragon was talking to him, inside his head too!

The Alpha standing next to him had been quite stationary, a rather unusual occurrence he had to admit. Izuku couldn't help but wonder what was taking place in his head. Was it similar to what he had just experienced? The Omega looked back at the golden dragon, who appeared to smile slightly as those thoughts appeared in his mind. This couldn't be happening, could it?

His thoughts drifted back to the recent attack, this was all getting a bit much, "Katsuki, what's going on? That Alpha..." Izuku spoke quietly, knowing that his Alpha would be able to hear him. The scarred Alpha had tried to take him yet again. Why him? There had to be something that he was missing.

The others in their group were standing a short distance away, clearly waiting for their Prince to give an order. Izuku hadn't given them much thought since the dragons had arrived. He looked at the group of heroic knights that were now huddled together as though they were discussing something important. Were they sweating?

The Alpha indeed heard Izuku. It was as though he snapped back into focus, "I've just had the strangest conversation. You won't believe-" the Alpha stopped speaking when he made eye contact with Izuku. Whose face was clearly as bewildered. Izuku nodded at the Alpha Prince in confirmation.

The two turned their heads as someone cleared their throat, "sorry, Bakubro. I don't mean to interrupt whatever is going on here, but, what is in fact going on? Neither of you have spoken much in the last few minutes and those two dragons are..." Kirishima slowly stepped closer as he spoke. Izuku could clearly see the trembling the Alpha was trying to hide. Weren't the people here supposed to coexist with these creatures?

"You don't need to panic, Shitty hair," Prince Bakugo turned his body to face his guards. Izuku couldn't help but notice that the red haired Alpha's body had relaxed a little. He really did trust his Prince. "This is Aka and his mate Kin. They are our paired dragons." Izuku noticed the smugness in the Alpha's voice as he spoke, "according to Aka they only pair with fated mates, and cannot fully connect with us until our own bond is formed. There is so much to this fated mate shit, it's making my head hurt."

Izuku looked between the Alpha Prince and the dragons, who seemed to have gone rather quiet. This was a lot to take in. When he'd researched the concept of fated mates there had been nothing of dragons.

"There wouldn't be, Izuku," Kin was there in his head again, her voice calm and soothing, "It's a secret that we have kept hidden. There is more to this, but we shall discuss it later, when we are in a more private and secluded location. We know that the two of you will need time to process all of this."
