The Alpha glided his tongue over the Omega's neck, then Izuku felt the teeth sink into his neck. Pain ripped through him coursing through his body. He screamed as he woke from his dream. That had never happened before.

"Your Highness, are you alright?" one of Izuku's guards was banging on his door, clearly he'd heard the scream.

"Y-yes, I am fine," Izuku replied, though in truth he wasn't sure.

"Very well, Sir. Please tell us if you require anything," what must have been the other Alpha guard said.

Izuku knew that he would be fine, though the reassurance of guards outside his chambers did make his life a lot easier. The Omega just needed a moment. He moved his hand to his neck where the pain had originated. He sighed, there was no mark. Although he was initially relieved, there was a part of him that felt as though something was missing. Maybe that was just his inner Omega pining after his fated mate, or could it be something more?

As he was regaining focus, he looked around his room. It was still dark out, he wasn't sure how long it would be until dawn but he knew that he wouldn't be going back to sleep any time soon. What if he ended up back in that dream with the Alpha? Though he couldn't help but think, would that be such a terrible thing? No, he should not be thinking such thoughts.

The question now was, what was he going to do to pass the time until morning? He could read, he had some books left from his most recent trip to his Library. That would probably make him sleepy though, he needed to stay awake. What was he to do?

He began wandering around his room, there wasn't much to be done as the servants did an excellent job of cleaning. He walked over to the doors to his balcony, they were locked. Interesting, was his mother that worried that someone would snatch him straight out of his bed chambers? Or, was it to stop him escaping again? Her worrying was becoming a little unbearable. He really hoped that once he had chosen an Alpha, they wouldn't trap him in his room like this.

It looked like he was going to have to read.

When it was time to head down, there was a knock at his door. "Enter," he called out before yawning.

One of his guards stepped into his chambers, "Your Highness, Uraraka is busy with your mother this morning. I was asked to come in and check that you were awake. The girls will be here soon to get you ready for today."

"Oh, ok then. That's fine, thank you. I'll let you know when I'm ready to head down to breakfast."

It wasn't long before the Omega servants arrived to get him ready for the day. He tried his best not to fall asleep as they were bathing him. The warm water felt very relaxing against his skin. The heat reminded him of his dream, the warmth of Katsuki's skin against his own... No, now wasn't the time to be thinking about him and his beautifully toned body.

He was meeting Prince Todoroki for breakfast. He hadn't spent a lot of time with the other Alpha he would possibly be mated to, and he needed to change that. He knew how his mother felt about the situation, but surely she would respect his decision in the end. It had to be fair.

Once he was dressed he headed down to breakfast, he had agreed to meet with Prince Todoroki and so he would. No matter how tired he was. The guards that were escorting him had to slow down to match his pace. Hopefully, today will go by easily.

The hall was busy, people hurrying around as everyone ate. Izuku couldn't help but wonder if he'd go back to having breakfast with just his parents after the guests had left. Part of him missed their shared mornings together. He'd have to make the most of them before he left for his wedding.

The Omega looked for the Alpha, it was easy to spot him with his distinctive hair. He was sitting alone in a corner of the hall. Izuku couldn't help but notice that he looked tired too. He began to walk over to him, yet another Alpha blocked his path.
