Katsuki was up early, too early. He'd hardly slept, unable to settle and drift off. The way in which Prince Midoria had so openly claimed him at the ball was all that occupied his mind. It was very common for an Alpha to claim their Omega, it was part of their designation. However, Omegas rarely were so open and public with theirs.
Today Katsuki was going home. He was taking his Omega home. The Alpha had informed his parents of the recent events, he hadn't been surprised to find them both thrilled by the news.
As he finished dressing, his mind wandered back over them. He had come here simply to appease his parents, not to be returning with an Omega. Yet, the Prince knew that this was the best outcome. He was happy, happier than he'd ever been.
His head guard was waiting for him outside his chambers, the red haired Alpha had a ridiculous grin on his face.
"What's got you so excited, Shitty hair?" Katsuki knew he shouldn't tempt the overly optimistic Alpha, but nothing could ruin his mood today.
"Just happy to be heading home, that's all."
Katsuki felt as though there was more, but he was too eager to see Prince Midoria to press further. "Yes, yes. That's great. Is everything almost packed? I was to set off as soon as possible."
"Indeed, they are just sorting the last few bits out. Breakfast is being served, shall we head down?"
The blond Alpha nodded and led the way. He wasn't particularly hungry, yet the journey home was long and the Omega might be there.
Upon entering the hall, he saw his desired target. The green haired Omega was sitting with the brown haired Beta he'd seen around before. He couldn't remember her name. There was also a tall blue haired Alpha sitting with them. He'd seen that Alpha around a lot recently, maybe a little too much.
Katsuki was standing behind the Omega Prince, his Alpha pheromones threatening to smother the small group at any moment. Thankfully, the younger Prince turned his head just in time.
"Katsuki, there you are! Are you joining us for breakfast?" The bright smile on the Omega's face melted Katsuki's fury immediately. The other two rose out of their seats immediately, bowing to the Alpha Prince before sitting back down.
"Yes, I am here to join you." He sat next to his Omega, occasionally glancing at the tall Alpha across from him.
"Oh, have you been introduced?" Izuku asked, glancing between them all.
"Not officially," the blond Alpha mumbled as a hot plate of breakfast was placed down in front of him. The food could wait, this could not.
"Oh, I am sorry. This is Ochaco Uraraka, my friend and head maid. This is Tenya Iida, a royal guard," Prince Midoria gestured between the two as he spoke, "I don't need to introduce you, do I Katsuki?"
The Alpha couldn't resist a chuckle at that, "No, Izuku. There is no need for that." His face returned to his usual scowl.
Katsuki hadn't taken his crimson eyes off of the other Alpha, what was his place here? Was he interested in his Omega? No, he couldn't be. Surely, Katsuki would have noticed sooner. Wouldn't he?
"So Four eyes, what's your place here?" The Alpha was as blunt as always.
"K-Katsuki! You can't just...Iida, please don't-"
"No Your Highness, I understand," the blue haired Alpha's voice remained stoic, standing as he spoke, "I am one of Prince Midoria's guards, Your Highness. I have known the Prince since we were both young, we often train together."
The blond Alpha thought that hearing the Alpha speak and clear his name would calm his growing jealousy. It did not.
"Oh, I see. So the two of you are quite close then. Is there something I should know?"
