Katsuki could feel the Omega trembling behind him. That shitty extra of an Alpha King was going to pay for making his future Omega react in such a way. He glared at the King that had just stormed from the hall. More needed to be done. He'd be sending a second letter home to his parents before he left the Jade Kingdom. Something needed to be done about the arrogant and aggressive Alpha.

As soon as the King was gone, Katsuki spun around and pulled the shivering Omega into his arms. Soothing pheromones began seeping out of him, the Omega clinging to him like a baby koala bear.

"I've got you. You're safe," Katsuki was holding the Omega, he didn't want to ever let him go. These recent experiences with Alphas were clearly having a negative impact on Prince Midoria, something that Katsuki would need to rectify soon. Maybe he should plan a little surprise with the Omega Prince.

"We need to talk." Katsuki turned to face Queen Midoria as she spoke. He couldn't agree more, they did need to talk. He only hoped that she would listen. "Let's head somewhere a little more private. We need to talk about the next steps," she was already making her way from the room.

The small group followed Queen Midoria to her office. Katsuki stayed as physically close to the still silent Omega as possible. He couldn't wait until they were bonded, he'd then know how the Omega was feeling. His inner Alpha was howling with fury as he looked at the green haired Prince.

The four Alphas and two Omegas entered the Queen's office. It seemed somewhat darker than his father's, like there was a negative energy seeping from somewhere. The Queen sat at her desk, her husband standing behind her. Katsuki shook his head as he took a seat next to Prince Midoria, on the other side of the large desk. He needed to think straight. Kirishima and the Jade's head guard stood a few feet away.

"Izuku, are you ok?" Katsuki's focus was back on the Omega. He was still holding his hand, but hadn't said a word. He just stared at his feet, "what do you need?"

Still no response. What was going on inside the Omega's head?

Katsuki saw King Yagi move towards Prince Midoria, but the Queen placed a hand on his arm.

"Omega, look at me," an Alpha bark laced his voice. Immediately, Prince Midoria's beautiful emerald eyes were on his. Not how he wanted to do this, but he needed the Omega to listen to him. "I'm sorry, I know we aren't mated yet. Please, talk to me, to us. What's going on? What do you need?"

Prince Midoria looked around the room, almost as though he had no idea where he was. Katsuki watched as those green eyes stopped on the Queen's.

Regaining his full composure, the Omega straightened his posture and spoke, "I'm sorry, I don't really remember what happened after King Todoroki spoke. It was as though his eyes were piercing my soul." He shuddered, grasping Katsuki's hand tighter.

"You needn't concern yourself with him," it was King Yagi's turn to try and reassure the young Omega, "I have instructed the royal guards to ensure that he and his party are to leave the kingdom by midday."

It must have worked. Katsuki felt Prince Midoria relax a little, their hands still intertwined.

"I just don't understand what his problem is...those eyes of his. I feel like a target. I hadn't met him until recently." Prince Midoria was looking at the floor again.

Katsuki gently lifted his chin with his hand, "he's not your concern. He's a piece of work and will be dealt with accordingly. He's just upset that his son didn't win."

A small smile appeared on the Omega's freckled face. Katsuki couldn't help but note that he really was breathtakingly beautiful. Soon to be his.

"Prince Bakugo is right. You have other, more important things to think about. One of them being your upcoming wedding. Now, the two of you will be leaving here in just over a week. There is a lot to do before you depart."
