Izuku made it back to his room quickly. He was well used to sneaking around the Palace through the secret passages and wanted to avoid having to speak to anyone else after his exhausting evening. The walk back felt long, he had plenty of time to reflect on the events of the evening. The majority of the Alphas he had danced with were of no interest to him when he really thought about it. They had spent too long bragging about themselves and had shown no real interest in him. How was he supposed to develop a positive relationship with an Alpha that he didn't feel a connection with? He wanted someone that he could share his joys and passions with, not someone who was only interested in themselves.
The only Alpha that had expressed any interest in him personally was the final one. The fascinating looking one, with those striking two toned eyes. Prince Todoroki was definitely a handsome Alpha and Izuku did indeed find his scent appealing, yet, his thoughts couldn't help but wander back to the ash blond Alpha. Although he had been rude and harsh, Izuku just could not get him out of his little green head.
The guard at the door to his chambers smiled at the young Prince as he opened the door for the Prince. He feigned a smile in return and stepped through, letting out a deep sigh. Izuku was greeted by two female Omegas who were there to get him ready for bed.
"Good evening, your Highness," the two said together as they curtsied to their Prince.
"You both know that you don't need to be so formal when it is just me. Ochako isn't here to reprimand you," the Omega flopped onto his bed. The two girls giggled, they had happily volunteered to help the young Prince as they were desperate for some gossip. Being an Omega, Izuku felt most relaxed when he was around other Omegas in the Palace. Although that only counted his Mother and a handful of servants, he had spent time building up friendship with them. Being an Omega wasn't easy, though they did have it easier than in other Kingdoms.
Izuku was well aware of how lucky he was to have been born into the Jade Kingdom. He had heard rumours of how other Kingdoms treated their Omegas, another reason for the courting rituals were important. Queen Inko did not want her beloved son trapped with an abusive Alpha.
With a small smile and a slight sigh he let the Omegas do their job and get him ready for bed, he was happy to engage them with some details. Like him they lived in the castle for their protection, and they enjoyed the gossip.

On the other side of the Palace the Alphas were heading towards their own rooms, discussing the evening as they walked. Prince Katsuki was given space by the others, they knew to avoid him unless they wanted their heads biting off. A guttural growl was reverberating from his chest as he glared at the other Alphas walking ahead of him. He couldn't get the green haired Omega out of his head. His perfect facial features and figure had captivated the angry Alpha, daring him to think about how he looked under those perfectly fitted clothes and how he'd look under him.
This is not how the evening was supposed to go, he was here to show off his dominance and power over the other Alphas, not to court Prince Midoria. Tomorrow would be a new day and the training room would be a perfect place to help distract these thoughts from his confused mind.
"Everything ok, Bakugo?" He glanced to his left to see a smirking Prince Todoroki step up beside him. "You seem rather flustered in yourself, I wonder if it will impact the rest of the Trials?" The smug grin remained plastered across his face. Katsuki was not impressed, he had seen the Alpha dancing with the Omega Prince after him and it had bothered him more than he wanted to acknowledge.
"It is none of your concern. I will put you and the rest of these extras in their place where you all belong," Katsuki's voice was laced with venom as he spoke. His red eyes glowed as they narrowed on the Alpha walking next to him.
