CH 20 - BRIGHTWIN

Fourth returned home in a dazed mood. His brother came home late from work today. Looking at the empty, extremely quiet house made Fourth even more sad. Fourth lay down on the sofa in the living room, looked up aimlessly and blamed himself, Phuwin worked so hard, but he only brought fatigue to him, if he could help him do that. What a good thing. The bell rang, it was from Gemini, he didn't pay any attention, despite the many messages and calls that kept coming in, Fourth closed his eyes, he wanted to sleep, then he lay on the sofa.

Gemini ran to Fourth's door, pressed the bell but got no answer, he just stood outside the door and called him in vain.

"Gemini, what are you doing here, it's very late"

"Fourth, aren't responding to my messages and calls. I'm afraid something's wrong with him."

Gemini's eyes quickly looked at Phuwin. Phuwin then quickly opened the door and ran into the house to see Fourth sleeping on the sofa. Looking at the clock, it was almost 12 o'clock, but why did Fourth sleep so early today, he wondered, worried that it was caused by Fourth's illness. Gemini helped Phuwin carry Fourth to his room, gently covered him with a blanket, watched him sleep peacefully for a while, then went downstairs with Phuwin.

"Brother, he failed the class..."

Gemini faced Phuwin, he told everything about this morning. As a brother who has taken care of Fourth since childhood, Phuwin understands Fourth very well. He knows that Fourth is afraid that he will be upset about money.

"Gemini, Fourth isn't blaming you,

After seeing Gemini out of the gate, Phuwin returned home and secretly went up to Fourth's room like always, looking at his sleeping face.

Joong went on a volunteer work trip today in a suburb, up in Chiang Mai. Yesterday, he must have made an appointment for Fourth and Phuwin to come for a check-up, because he was afraid he would be gone for a long time. What he must have been afraid of was that Fourth's illness had not yet been discovered, but Fourth said that lately he often falls asleep early. Joong sighed softly with a headache, looking at Phuwin worrying about his younger brother, he also felt a moment of pity. Remembering yesterday when he met Phuwin, he noticed that he had become thinner and his face was a bit pale as if he had lacked sleep. He is a doctor, of course, small signs like that are enough to guess that he is not working properly.

Joong drove with his colleagues to a small village in the countryside. He opened the door and got out of the car. The scene here looked very peaceful, suitable for those who like quiet. Joong carried his things and got out of the car, following his colleagues to the motel that had been prepared by the village chief. The volunteer group that came here was very small, so everyone happily welcomed them. After arranging his things properly, Joong went out of the house and took a walk around. After all, it was not yet time for the medical examination, so he took the opportunity to learn a little about this suburb.

Joong was walking when someone accidentally bumped into him

"Sorry, I accidentally bumped into you"

Joong looked up at the person who had just apologized to him. He was a very mature looking guy, looking a bit older.

"I'm fine, don't worry."

Joong responded, looking at the person in front of him, asking a question in his heart, can't he see? His eyes look aimlessly without focus.

"Sorry, I can't see clearly"

"Is your vision weak?"

"Sometimes it's just blurry for a while and then it goes away, it's not so bad that I can't see it"

The other person replied, Joong also smiled, it turned out that this person had limited vision, probably had weak eyesight, vision was blurry but not necessarily blind, just seeing everything was blurry, but long. In case his vision was limited for a while, he saw clearly again as if this person was the first time he met

While the two were talking, another guy appeared behind them. He looked towards the person just called Win. Win turned around, smiled and called out

"Bright"

Win waved at Bright, Bright also quickly approached Win, he looked slightly at Joong and nodded in greeting, then turned to scold Win.

"Win, why are you out here? Do you know how worried I am?"

Win was scolded and just pouted and whined

"I'm only going for a little bit, can't you still see this?"

"Be obedient, if you want to go out, come with me."

Bright pinched Win's nose, then looked at Joong who was standing there watching this scene

"Ah, hello, you seem to be the new doctor here, right?"

Bright asked

"Yes, I'm Joong Archen, a doctor at Bangkok Hospital"

"Um, I heard that your group is coming today, I'm Bright, this is Win, we're teachers here."

When Joong heard this, he smiled and nodded. The two people in front of him didn't need to ask to guess what their relationship was.

"Ah, it's time for me to go. The kids have a gift giving program today."

Win said

"Can I go with you two?"

Joong asked, after all, he was probably free now and wanted to go sightseeing a bit

"Okay, please follow us."

Win said, then went with Bright, Joong smiled and followed, they passed a small paved road, a moment later, in the distance they saw the school gate named "Sunflower". Joong was led closer by BrightWin. Looking inside, he saw a scene of children playing. On the way, he was told by BrightWin that this was a school for orphans, the children lived here and were raised by mothers in the school. BrightWin has also moved here for a long time, so they consider the children like family. As soon as they arrived, the children rushed out to hug BrightWin

"Mr. Bright, Mr. Win."

BrightWin smiled and patted the children's heads, then introduced Joong to everyone. The mothers in the house saw BrightWin coming and handed the children over to the two of them, and their children went in to prepare lunch. A bustling scene of play took place, Joong stood watching the children playing on the field, suddenly smiling. Outside the door, a car drove in and parked on the yard. When the children saw the car, they immediately eagerly abandoned the game and rushed over. A person got out of the car. He recognized him from afar and unconsciously uttered a small word
