F(6) MY LIGHT

CH 1 - FIRST TIME GOING OUT

"Everyone sees others as their light without knowing that the person next to them is the real light"

Fourth Nattawat just entered college this year and is a Law student at Chula University. Since setting foot in this lecture hall, he always hoped that he would have a few more good friends. Luckily, he met two close friends named Satang and Winny. Today, as usual, is a very beautiful day, the clear blue sky is dotted with white floating clouds, the sunlight gently shines down, shining on Fourth's small shoulders, he is trying to run as fast as possible. Avoid this sunlight, walk into class and sit at his desk.

"Fourth, do you know anything?"

Winny sat at the table in front of him, turned around to look at Fourth and asked a question.

"Huh, what do I know?"

Fourth had just entered the classroom and before he had time to think, he received a question from Winny

"The band you like is performing here tonight, go ahead"

"But I can't go out at night, my brother won't let me"

Fourth said, his eyes shining with regret

"But I have 3 tickets to go, you've always refused us since college, this time you have to go"

Satang also turned towards them and said, indeed, Fourth always refused the times the two invited them to go out in the evening for the reason that he was afraid his brother wouldn't let him, but both Satang and Winny were wondering how gentle his brother was since they used to go to Fourth's house to hang out, but why didn't he let Fourth go out? Wouldn't college life not go out with friends in the evening be very boring?

"So... Let me go back and ask for permission to try."

"Yeah... If there's anything, let us know."

As soon as Fourth got home, he quickly ran up to his room and put away his school bag. His older brother Phuwin still hadn't returned from work, so Fourth had to wait a little longer. Fourth, from the bottom of his heart, he also wanted to go out to play, but because of his poor health, he had not had the chance to go out. This time, he took a risk and asked him to try. Phuwin returned home at six o'clock in the evening. Today he stopped by the supermarket to buy some food so he came back a bit late. Fourth sat in the living room, heard his noises outside the door, turned off the TV and ran out to help him bring the things in. After a while of struggling in the kitchen, the two finally sat at the dining table.

Phuwin was sitting down to eat when he noticed Fourth's strange behavior. He kept taking the spoon into his rice bowl, looking like he wanted to say something to him, looking very nervous.

"Fourth, what's wrong?"

Phuwin asked in a gentle voice, he was very concerned about this younger brother of his

"Tonight, can you let me go out...to play with my friends..."

Fourth gathered all his courage, looked at his brother, and asked him to let him go out to play

"It's not good Fourth, I'm afraid something will happen to you"

Phuwin looked at Fourth, still with that gentle voice but mixed with a bit of worry. Fourth has long had a strange illness, he won't see anything after 12pm and everything will only return to normal at 4am. That's also the reason why Phuwin is always worried and doesn't allow him to go out at night, or when he goes out, he always goes with him. Phuwin and Fourth are two brothers. Their parents passed away when Phuwin was 15 years old, so only the two of them rely on each other to survive. Fortunately, there is still a bit of property left by their parents so the two brothers can fight back. for a while, life was difficult at times, but Phuwin always tried to take care of his younger brother. Luckily, he graduated from college early and got a fairly stable job so he was able to raise Fourth to college.  If something happened to Fourth, he wasn't sure he would survive, because Phuwin's only source of motivation and light was Fourth, his beloved younger brother.

"I know, but... I really want to go out with my friends, just once... is that okay..."

This year, Fourth just entered college. The wish to go out with Satang and Winny in the evening once made Fourth beg Phuwin. Fourth said, looking at Phuwin with anticipation.

"Okay, but remember to come back before 12 o'clock."

Phuwin, out of compassion, agreed. Fourth was already grown up. He knew this was his younger brother's only wish, so he didn't have the heart to stop him, nor did he forget to tell his younger brother to come home early. Fourth received Phuwin's agreement and was very happy. After eating, he ran to his room to prepare clothes. He called Satang and Winny, then took the car to the meeting point. While waiting for his two friends, Fourth accidentally bumped into someone so he quickly apologized. Before he could ask, Winny's voice came.

"Fourth is here, come here quickly, the band you like is about to perform"

Fourth quickly ran back to where Satang and Winny stood, leaving the other person a bit disappointed. His eyes looked at Fourth's back as he ran away, his mouth curled up into a very gentle smile, it seemed like the other person was attracted by Fourth's petiteness and bright smile, he was Gemini, who had just returned to Thailand from abroad to travel.

If falling in love with someone from the first time you meet is destiny, then perhaps Gemini has met his destiny. He himself doesn't understand why he likes looking at him so much. Originally he came here just to watch the concert for fun, but right after accidentally bumping into Fourth, Gemini's eyes only looked at him, at the figure cheering from afar. Gemini smiled, just looking at Fourth under the performance lights. Fourth looked so happy at that time, being able to go out for the first time, having fun with friends, seeing his idol always made him smile so brightly, because he was so absorbed that time just passed by.

Fourth accidentally forgot that it was almost time to go home, until he started to feel symptoms of blurred vision, so he raised his hand to look at the clock, there were only 15 minutes left and it was already 12 o'clock. Fourth quickly looked around, Satang and Winny were still looking at the stage. Suddenly Fourth was shocked, he couldn't stand firmly, causing Winny standing next to him to hold his hand

"Hey Fourth, what's wrong with you?"

"Are you okay Fourth?"

Satang and Winny looked at Fourth worriedly, Fourth shook his head slightly trying to speak

"Sorry, I'll go home first, my brother called."

Fourth said, Satang and Winny then also wanted to go home with him, but Fourth couldn't bear to let his two friends lose their fun, so he said he could go home alone. Fourth tried to walk normally until he was out of sight of Satang and Winny. He quickly ran to catch the car. If he could catch the car, he could tell them to drive to his house, then Phuwin would come out to help. When Gemini saw his strange expression, then saw him quickly leave and chased after him, his hunch told him something was wrong.

Fourth walked to the sidewalk to catch a bus, but before he could, darkness enveloped him, the clock struck 12 o'clock at night, and his eyes lost their light. Fourth was worried, now he was alone standing alone in the middle of space. He trembled and tried to take a few more steps with the intention of sitting on the sidewalk, but he did not know that he was gradually walking towards the main road. Fourth took a step down the street when a car passed by

"Hey you! Be careful!"
