I slowly open my eyes when the bright rays of the sun hit my face,  I groan in annoyance and bury my face in the soft pillow it had Nick's scent all over it. I look at his side and furrowed my eyebrows when he wasn't there. I sit on the bed I begin scrutinizing the room I thought to myself where did he go without telling me? his scent was strong he must have left a little while ago. All of a sudden, he entered the room he was looking stunning in his attire he is dressed in a black slim fit suit he was putting on his watch he gazed at me.

"Good morning sunshine, did you sleep well?" he had a radiant smile on his face.

"Good morning, babe, I slept well." I get up from the bed Nick came near me and gives me a quick gentle kiss on my cheek.

"Where are your going so early in the morning." I say looking at the wall clock it was only 08:00 am.

"I'm going to check the arrangements at the packhouse, I'll come back to pick you up." he said to me I nodded my head and went in my room to freshen up.

I brushed by teeth and got in the shower the warm water touched my skin it made me feel relaxed. My life has changed so much in these past few days it's been amazing my best friend turned out to be my mate, I got a powerful wolf and people whom I can call my family I'm so blessed to have them in my life I said to myself. I turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and stepped out of the bathroom .I begin picking out my outfit and decided to wear a blue flap pocket baggy cargo jeans and soft coral drawstring side crop tee. I opened my vanity table drawer and picked my crescent moon necklace which my mother had gifted me on my fifth birthday it was the last gift that I received from her. I got emotional thinking about my parents I miss them.

"Valerie, your parents are watching over you from above they must be so proud of you that their little girl has turned into such a wonderful woman." Aldora's words were comforting.

"Thank you Adora I'm glad that you're my wolf." I said with a smile on my face.

"Valerie are you ready?" It's Nick I thought he had left.

"Just give me a few minutes." I seat on my fluffy stool I grab my hairbrush from the vanity table and brush my hair I begin making a messy bun and throw on my baby blue sneakers.

"I'm waiting for you outside your room." He said I took one last glance in the mirror before standing up from my stool.

I unlocked my door Nick was busy typing on his phone. when he sees me standing in front of him, he puts the phone in his pocket.

"I taught you had already left." I said to him with my eyebrows raised.

"I wanted to have breakfast with you." He gives me a smile and grasp my hand we begin descending the staircase.

"Happy birthday my darling." Ophelia says and hugs me when we enter the dining room.

"Ophelia, you look gorgeous." I was astonished when I see her.

She was wearing a green butterfly sleeve floral embroidery dress her scandals were black slingback chunky heeled. Her hair was twisted chignon he had put on an off- white pearl necklace and earnings. She was grasping a satin pleaded off- white clutch bag in her hands her makeup looked natural.

"Thank you dear." She had a bright smile on her face.

"Valerie, here's a little present for you." she handed me a pink gift box.

"Thank you so much Ophelia." I pulled her in a hug.

I was eager to find out what is the box "Valerie, would you like to open it now?" Ophelia asked me and I had a huge grin on my face and nodded my head. Nick told me to go forward I pulled the pink ribbon and took the lid off the box and gave it to Nick who was standing beside me.
