The final Battle

We are hiding behind the trees waiting for Andrew's command to attack. I see lifeless bodies lying on the ground people were dragged out of their houses and brutally tortured. The opponent's outnumbered Valerie's pack warriors they were struggling to keep up with the fight. The ground was spattered with innocent blood it was a gruesome sight to look. I gazed at my mate tears were streaming down her cheeks she was shaken up when she sees her people were killed and tortured before her eyes, she has been anxious even since morning.

"Babe, I know something is causing you distress please tell me I can't see you hurt" I turned to her with pleading eyes she shook her head.

"Nick, everything's alright" she said in her angelic voice and attempted to smile but failed. she is not telling the truth.

"Mate is in pain. Aldora is unwilling to tell me." Lucas whined.

"She doesn't want us to know." why? Lucas lets out a groan we our her mate we will protect her I see Andrew motioning me to start attacking I nodded.

I mind link my pack members "attack" I shout, and everyone came out of their hiding place and begin attacking.

Black clouds begin to appear in the sky the air was filled with metallic scent more packs joined the fight. The alpha of the pack was nowhere to be seen a woman with long red hair steps on the battlefield she wears a nasty smile and gestures her warriors to stop fighting she gets closer to her target.

"Well come back nasty rat. I can't wait to kill you." she laughed wickedly Valerie looked at her with disgust.

"Hold your horses Sorinah only time will tell who loses their precious life today." This is the last time I'll be hearing your annoying voice rat because within few minutes you will be lying on the ground dead.

Sorinah gestures her warrior to continue the fight she left the battlefield and sits on her lavish armchair chair sipping her wine and enjoying the horrifying view.

Valerie

I'm disturbed because of the nightmare that I had early in the morning I saw Nick was about to get- it was just a dream Valerie I tried to calm down myself and concentrate on the fight.

"Valerie, daughter of Alpha Bastian it's sad that you will have to die young." my opponent said in an aggrieved tone. The warriors that are fighting didn't belong to my pack they are our enemies helping Sorinah to get revenge.

"Sorinah ordered me to make this battle fun otherwise I would have killed you instantly." I like the confidence, but you're fighting skills lack I smirked at him he seemed distracted I throw a punch at his jaw.

"Ow! you grungy rat I'm going to kill you." He shrieks in pain. I'm sick of hearing the same word let's put an end to this fight.

"Exactly my poin-" I snapped his neck his lifeless body was lying on the ground I looked at our mate I signed in relief when I see that he was safe.

"Valerie watch out!" Aldora yells in my head I turn around and see a warrior with a huge scar on his eye rushing towards me he strikes me I swiftly dodge it.

I gasped. It's the same man from my dream I glance at Nick who was still fighting the man attempted to punch me, but I blocked it.

"Valerie keep your mind on the fight." I can't Aldora our mate life is in danger.

"We need to defeat this monster first if we want to save our mate." I agree with her and look at the man he has a murderous look in eyes just like I saw him in my dream.
