Thursday had come quicker than Eliza realized and she was in her bedroom on FaceTime with Nat who was trying to help her pick an outfit to wear on her date with Lando.
They had been through at least three outfits that both girls deemed not good enough for a first date, Eliza was currently putting the next outfit on, it was an off-white/ivory-colored lace crop top with spaghetti straps, a black skirt, topped with a black cropped leather jacket and a pair of black heels.

Eliza stepped into the view of her camera after she had changed and Nat playfully wolf-whistled at her, "damn girl that is the one... his jaw when he sees you is going to be on the fucking floor."
Eliza laughed "Thanks Nat, you're such a lifesaver here... Honestly, I don't know why I'm so nervous, I've never been this nervous for a first date before."
Nat gave her a soft smile, "Honestly babes it's probably because something about this one is different, we can all tell it, Eliza..."
Eliza smiled as she realized that Nat was right, something about this one was different "I just don't know what it is that makes him so different, but I can see something real coming from this and I know we've not known each other for long and haven't even gone on our first date yet, and not to sound delusional or anything but like he could be the one and I've never felt that about any of my past relationships this early in." Eliza brought her phone into the bathroom to do her makeup she was doing a simple smokey eye look that matched her outfit.
The other girl smiled at her best friend, "I said it, that this was different for you, that this whole thing wasn't a typical Eliza crush because being your best friend for as long as I have been, I've seen all of your crushes and I could just tell that this was different."
She finished getting ready and the doorbell rang at seven o'clock on the dot, "that's him I'll call you and Mikey tomorrow and we'll do a full debrief."
"Gotcha Eliza, go have fun on your date." They hung up the phone and Eliza slipped it into her little clutch purse and did a last check in the mirror before she opened the door.
The brunette had a smile on her face as she looked at Lando "Hi."
Nat had been right, his jaw was practically on the floor when he saw her, "Hi... wow El you look amazing."
