Eliza was just about finished cooking dinner when she heard the doorbell go off and a smile slipped onto her face as she knew that it was Lando.
She made sure that nothing would burn while she answered the door and made her way through the kitchen, to answer the door.
The brunette singer opened the door with a smile on her face, which widened when she saw Lando there with a bouquet of roses, "Hi El, these are for you." he held them out as she let him in.

"Oh my god, Lan those are gorgeous, thank you so much. I love them." she took them and he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.
"of course El."
"I've almost finished dinner, so let me find a vase for these flowers and then I'll finish up and we can eat."
"all right." he followed her through to the kitchen, she found a vase for the roses and sat them on the kitchen island.
Five minutes later she had dinner ready and he helped her set the table and everything, while she put the finishing touches on getting the food plated and ready for them to eat, which Eliza appreciated.
They started eating and he looked at her, "Wow El this is delicious..."
She smiled, "Thank you, I love to cook, but with it usually just being me here I don't normally get to go all out like this so I'm glad you like it." So they ate dinner and Eliza grinned, "so I'm I also made a little dessert and it's honestly the first time I tried to make it so hopefully it turned out okay."
He just smiled, "I'm sure it will be good El." and then she walked back into the kitchen and he pulled out the grey necklace box that he had bought earlier, he had taken Charles' words into consideration and went with something simple but meaningful that would convey what he wanted because he knew that he would not be able to fully say everything he wanted to without stumbling over his words and becoming a stuttering mess.
Eliza came back with two plates and in the center of each was a round chocolate dessert, "so I attempted to make chocolate lava cakes from scratch which I've never done before so I hope that they turned out good."
